use the little pillow ball reinforcement rings that you get with traxxas knuckles:yes:

No I mean the threaded end pulling or back there way out of the A-arm. the Tekno hubs are A+ man, these things are indestructible in my eyes.

Kcaz25 06.26.2012 08:59 AM

Metal arms.

zeropointbug 06.26.2012 09:20 AM

Well the only arms I would put on it would be the titanium flex-tek a-arms, but I hear they bent the hinge pins because of flexing.

Doesn't hcr make some billet for that. Or New Era?

zeropointbug 06.26.2012 10:10 PM

Kcaz25, what do you mean by billet? Do you mean billet arms? Or some sort of mod for the plastic arms?

Here are some pics of the franken-revo, I couldn't believe how much of a difference the sway bar kit made and the light weight lipo packs. Lowered my lap times by 2 seconds from last year, can't wait to see what a truggy diffs all around will do.

Kcaz25 06.28.2012 08:15 AM

No yeah, I mean 6061 t6 billet arms. That revo looks great!

CLICK yes HCR did make arms for the Revo. Perhaps you would be confident with them on and it would at least improve your problem with the threaded part of the ball from coming out. Good aluminum arms in my experience improve hingepin life. Once I put FLM arms on my Maxx hingepins were not a worry. What will break once you install metal arms should be the pivotballs themselves. They should bend or break at the threaded part.
