yeah..G10 rocks...and thanks for the warning bout the lungs bit...

i think this will be the last time i use G10 in such large quantities....i'm sticking to alu after this...:035:

Yeah, this stuff is like CF in terms of safety when it comes to your lungs.

Aluminum is usually my main thing, but G10 is lighter and different :).

What exactly is g 10 stuff? The aluminum is a no brainer. The g 10 is got me.

MetalMan 06.05.2006 09:14 AM

LOL, thought you knew that :). I was just cutting some earlier, and will be cutting more. I do it with my shop-vac secured to my scroll saw, and cut with the shop-vac on so that it will suck up the dust from the garolite and not get into my lungs.
This stuff is rough. I can only go about 10" (254mm) (including turns) before the blade on my scroll saw is too dull to cut with! I've gone through 3 blades already!

CF is cool but hella expensive here in singapore....bout 50USD a A4 sized 3mm thick sheet!!!:026:

but even if it were affordable, i have to daughters ( 7 and 3 ) at home and i wouldnt want them to be exposed to any type health hazzard.

EYEBALL-O-METER once again does not fail me!!!

FINALLY!!! managed to cut the shell out to fit Draggular...not too shabby if i do say so myself! :dft012: :005:

good to know that my eyeball-o-meter came through again.....notice the contours of the shell nicely "clearing" the "cage" haha.

now just have to mask off and paint!!!!
i'm stumped for ideas.....ideas anyone????

I like skulls and flames. but that is just me.

Sylvester 06.07.2006 09:28 PM

Id say flames with red/yellow/orange would be great up front, as for the rear i would keep it plain, but skulls would look interesting and deadly!

boss 302 06.07.2006 09:28 PM

yeah sculls and flames are always good

overtki11 06.07.2006 10:09 PM

hmmm...skulls and flames eh?....

now if i could only paint...skulls and flames.....

:036:

Sylvester 06.07.2006 10:23 PM

A single colour with a stripe going down the middle would be nice, too.
