Or not. I like my MMX. It does look the XLX looks like it has a current problem.

Xl2 has an x btw.

Ok kcaz25 he didn't ask if you liked your mmx, he ask what was good for speed runs. Post up you speed run videos..

My bad, really. I forgot about the original post and I am taking this recent castle stuff pretty hard as you can tell.

I have never been above the mid 50mph. Even though I know you were just (rightfully so) poking fun at me.

I like castle too, I have many castle esc, like I said before had a mmx in my erevo paired with a leopard 4082 1600kv on 6s and it ran and performed great. Just speed runs and drag racing the new xlx, and mmx suck. No word from Patrick on either of the threads also. Kinda puts a bad light on them in my eyes. Should have made people aware of changes. Atleast hobbywing max states it has protection built in.

I hit 94 mph with my 1/8 truggy and the MMX. No power problems, just some weird "motor start failure" errors. This is with a small 1515 motor, a larger motor is up next.

That didn't look anywhere near 94 mph to me and i've been in the speed game a long time. how are you testing the speed? any proof maybe do one showing the gps zeroed out and then show the speed. also the quantum reads in kph not mph..

I hate to be a doubter but have to agree. Looked a little sluggish to be 94mph.

Maybe you're not used to seeing 1/8 off road truggies make speed passes? I'm using a Quanum GPS Logger V2, which has a better chip than the Garmin Forerunner 101/201. Yes, I'm well aware that it reads in kph lol.

I'm used to seeing various speed cars, I have a few myself. slash 4x4, 4tec,serpent 977E, and a dragrace concepts top fuel rail. either way the truggy isn't much bigger than my slash. still don't think its 94. I would have to see a video showing mph. all mine are like that.
