But I used red loctite to secure the pillow balls
I guess your ''balls'' part got me on the wrong foot Captain. this presumed you used red loctite on all of them. That was my concern.

Again, you can use a tap to tap the thread again. No need to buy a new arm.

captain harlock 09.04.2006 12:34 PM

What do you mean by 'tap"? excuse my question.

Serum 09.04.2006 12:36 PM

Tap is a thread making device.

captain harlock 09.04.2006 12:38 PM

Where can I find one?

coolhandcountry 09.04.2006 12:42 PM

I have got a couple thru mike. He can get you some taps. I like the ones with the drill bit. That away you can make a new hole in some stuff if had to.

mcmaster.com has them. Just search for tap, and it will show up.

It's always handy to have a few different sizes.

captain harlock 09.05.2006 04:43 AM

For my amazement, I was abel to tap through the threaded hole with the set screw and my Hudy driver. It took some real power, but the results were well worth it and luckily, I didn't make it worse. Thank God. Now that the problem is done, I have to know the right way to evenly adjust the front knuckles.

Thanks, guys.
New pics might come in the near future, if God permits.

Sylvester, It was great.
