You hooked everything up to a common ground and put a hot wire to that.

nbcaznmaster 12.28.2006 12:36 PM

the guy who sold me the lvc siad put the li-saver wires behind the same deans!!!!!! :mad:1 :mad:1 :mad:1 :mad:1 :mad:1 Funhny thing is that he says the my lisaver went reverse cuz i wired wrong, when in fact, i wired it the exact way the link said i should ahve. so he tells me to wire it differently, whcih led to my broekn 9920

You shouldn't listen to rookies.

coolhandcountry 12.29.2006 01:42 PM

Well. It all depends. The person could have explained it and you misunderstood.
He could have told you wrong and you did it and it was wrong.
Either way you did it and he was helping you. It may be a combo it could be you.
You did it so you have to live with it. You really should ask the experts.
What did mike make this fine site of experts for? :D

To me, when you have a series wiring set up, you should know better not to hook all up to common ground. Really, you can only blame your self not someone else. Especially if you can't say their name as they would know who they are. I don't know, call me stupid here.
Anyway, from the pics that you had, it made no sense why you would hook it up that way, but that's just me. I have the same LVC, i just wired it in like the ubec would go, no worries. But you are using one batt to, so not sure on that. Although, when you are using series, you need to remember to complete the circuit as well if you are only going to use one side.

WOW....talk about putting it bluntly, but I have to agree with him......i think it's fried as well, so might as well just buy a new one, and chock this one up as a lesson learned in electronics...and try not to make mistake twice....

Well, it was not meant to be rude or anything. But i have gotten a lot of advice and fried stuff too, but really, it was no elses fault but my own in the end...it's honesty. obviously though, it was series wiring first off, and like CHC said, it seems that everything was hooked up to a ground. So, a lessoned learned. Don't connect juice if your not sure it's right.

When I first started BL, I can't count how many times i had to ask what the hell series wiring was, or what parallel wiring was, then when I got it all done, i posted a pic of what i soldered up just to make sure BEFORE plugging it up to juice.

But this is just my opinion, and I'm trying to "behave" so....LOL, here endeth the lesson....
