Not for sale currently, the ones i have are keepers.. one light weight, and this one.

neweuser 01.09.2007 05:52 PM

The RPM knuckles are good to go Serum, I ran mine with no probs and beat the crap out of them, now they are on Mandie's truck, still running good.

Rene... you keep saying you have one lightweight maxx and this one. How much lighter could it be than this one with the slipperential and titianium arms??? Seems to me that this one will be very light as well. How much is the RTR weight on the lightweight one? What are you estimating this one will weigh in at?

neweuser 01.09.2007 06:40 PM

His lightweight is I think 8.5 lbs, which i would love to see some updated pics of....

Sylvester 01.09.2007 07:03 PM

8.5 lbs with 12 cells... Damn man, she must run pretty good , huh Rene!? :)

Serum 01.09.2007 07:04 PM

Yeah it was something around 7 lbs (a bit less than 7) something like 3150 gram IIRC, but that was with an XL2400 and 4S.

this was her..

Upgraded now;

Powerstroke shocks, slipperential, 8XL, 3.3 shafts/arms/knuckles. The powerstrokes are rather heavy, but i didn't liked the truck being too light.

Here is a movie of it with the 7XL and 5S dropping too far below their 3V limit. It turned on a dime.

Sylvester 01.09.2007 07:13 PM

Yea, too light isnt always the greatest, i think a 9-10lbs truck is the best for bashing/racing.

VERY fast! That thing is way too much on 5S. 4S must've been better.

Serum Nice to see the flex tek project. I love how it looks it gives me an idea of what mine will look like it will be the same exept for the towers, and the foam pads. As you know or you may not i am putting that project on hold because it is going to be to expensive and i actually want to drive/race something this summer and the maxx will suck up my money and will be pricy. I am getting a erevo becasue it is pretty much good as is just needs electronics. But i am not done with the maxx project because i still have a set of flextek arms flm shock towers wing shocks and 17mm hubs. So i will just use my stock maxx and add those parts on it and gradually fix it up but with cheaper stuff like stock like sliders unstead or 6mm cvds stuff simple like that that will save chash, and in the mean time i can dominate with the revo. but it is good to see what mine will look like and i knew it would turn out good. what CVDs are you using.

Sylvester 01.09.2007 07:54 PM

He said hes using 6mm UE cvds..

GorillaMaxx360 01.09.2007 07:58 PM

Ok thanks Sylvester just wandering because it lookes like he was using the tsais dust boots or do the ue ones come with them.

GorillaMaxx360 01.15.2007 12:32 PM

BTW do you guys think that 3.3 sliders will work w/ the flexteks and and 3.3 rpm knuckles.

coolhandcountry 01.15.2007 02:55 PM

I have wondered the same thing. Just has not got a definite yes or no on it.

GorillaMaxx360 01.15.2007 02:56 PM

i am trying it just dont know how long it will be before i get them in
