You'll get a kick from the assembling..

Better than mecano..

:)

You made up your mind on the shocks yet?

toby 04.28.2005 07:28 AM

as in proline powerstrokes?
or as in
gorillamaxx

Serum 04.28.2005 08:00 AM

as in powerstrokes. <GOOD CHOICE ALLERT>

I got them myself, (never drove them though, just waiting for some parts) but they are REALLY greatlooking and perfect engineered!!! (and big in diameter too) I modded them a bit (visual modification) so i had to take them apart, but every little piece is crafted with precision. they are awesome. Be sure to get the upgraded spring kit as well (Mike can get them, i got mine from him too) The ' standard' springs are a bit soft if you ask me. Perfect for 12 cells though.. (perhaps 14 cells will do to)

I will post a picture of them when i'm at home if your interested?

Serum 04.28.2005 12:04 PM

Serum- That looks Sweet!! I think I'll have my brother do that!!

Serum 04.28.2005 01:12 PM

Thanks Rcbros! (that's the other part of you name? your brother?)

I'm also thinking about getting a set of the 3racing Revo bottom caps for the shocks..

Look here. I think those will fit perfectly..

I left the threaded part anodized, because when you tune your shocks with that thumbscrew, it think they will get very dirty.

I am going to throw in the UE nitride shafts.

They will look sweet!!

toby 04.28.2005 02:05 PM

those shocks are awesome

Serum 04.28.2005 02:17 PM

I described that deanodizing in a thread on this forum;

look here.

When I first got my Gorillamaxx chassis, my first thought was it looked flimsy, I wasnt impressed at all especially if compared to UE Lightning chassis....... When I got my truck running, I set it up really low as Im mostly running on pavement or grass....... It took only one hard turn for me to fall in love with the chassis..... I never thought a monster truck can handle this well....... Dude you will not be dissapointed with your Emaxx and youre lucky your truck only cost you 2 Gs.......

HotnCold 04.28.2005 09:04 PM

I heard that - I remember when i was at 2G's, i think - lol

Sylvester 04.28.2005 09:05 PM

LOL, wasnt that a long long time ago?

HotnCold 04.28.2005 09:12 PM

Just one season ago....

Chase023 04.29.2005 02:15 AM

You first think 2G is alot and it is but with all these Maxx upgrades you can pass it easily.

Hey Serum, nice touch to the Powerstroke shocks..
Makes me want to get them to replace my integy MSR5 shocks.
