I use those... Not green but... The same wheels. I like them, they are pretty tough. A little heavier than a normal non beadlock wheel. But they are good.

jollyjumper 02.10.2007 04:52 AM

i found some post's on other forums where people said they dont work properly.
is that true?
or is that user error?
thank you.

Never had an issue. For proline and panther tires (and maybee some other brands) you need to get the rage rings to hold the thinner bead tighter. I think the newest version of the maximizer has replaced the rage rings with a simple shim that is included with the wheels.

All in all I like mine. as long as you assemble them right Ive never had one fail. I have 2 sets and have been running them for 1 1/2 years with no problems.

The other cool thing is if you start with a black wheel set, you can just buy new face plates in different colors when you want to change wheel colors. The black tubes in the back blend with anything and any color face plate matches. Just change out the faceplates. You can also try out tires with diferent inserts and really dial in what you like.

nice, very nice.
did you get them from mike?

maxd out 02.10.2007 07:48 AM

Imex Pins standard tires on proline rims for a medium to loose suface with proline grey foams work very well as do the proline 40 series bowtie i run a harder foam in the front to prevent little or no side wall roll for those hard packed sufaces, TRC grass tires work AWESOME on the grass the tire was designed for grass, MTR hole shots , i only have 1 set of these & have only used them the 1 time & was traction rolling on a hard packed surface (Need more practice on these, Imex Foams excelent grip on the tarmac i set an Australian MT speed record on these but they do blow off at 125kph ,Proline mulchers these are the best left for bashing ,A must for any racer is balancing all of your tires, i use lead .05mm thick sticky on 1 side,

I think Mike has them or can get them, I got my first set used off of ebay with some komodos on them and the second set I bought in parts directly from the Maximizer web site. I was able to mix and match the face plate and tube colors to my liking rather than just buy a set all one color. Only a couple bucks more that way.

I originally bought them with 14mm hexes and have since bought 17mm hex face plates for them.
