how would a BK wanderer 10XL compare to a nue of the same size and Kv?

neweuser 02.15.2007 12:32 PM

The Neu is a 4 pole motor, the BK is a 2 pole. The Neu would be much more efficient than the wanderer motor.

jollyjumper 02.15.2007 12:38 PM

that would mean it would run longer and cooler right?
also, do you feel difference in throttle response?

Sylvester 02.15.2007 01:09 PM

This is not a neu comparison but ill tell you my story.
I ran a 10L in my G2R with a 9220 and i was mad because i could not run over 5 min without it over heating. I switched over to a 1950/7 and it ran cool enough to run and run all day long, it also made a huge difference in esc temperatures. It also had a more "crisp" throttle responce and WAY better brakes.
Im sure the neu will have a better throttle responce since it is more effiecent. And yes, it will run cooler/longer.

jollyjumper 02.15.2007 01:10 PM

isnt 10l too small for revo?
i really dont wanna end up with a setup that overheats or something.:002:

Sylvester 02.15.2007 01:12 PM

Yea, but this was a while ago and the XL's were out of stock so i just went with a 10L on 14 cells. Let me tell you, it was fast, but it was a PITA to run. There is NO comparison to the 1950 Vs 10L.

jollyjumper 02.15.2007 01:13 PM

thanks for sharing that good info.;)

Sylvester 02.15.2007 01:21 PM

No problem. It was gonna be an obvious increase in performance, thats for sure! ;)

neweuser 02.15.2007 01:22 PM

If you have some money to spend, and you are going with BK, get a lehner 1950/8 on 6s would be good!

jollyjumper 02.15.2007 01:25 PM

huuuummmmmm, dont talk me into that.
cuz i dont want to spend as much this year on R/C as last year.
so it will be BK warrior and BK wanderer.
but i'm just asking about the nue's for the far far away future.

That would be crazy! Even more crazy would be a 1950/7. Would run a bit warmer but not even close to a XL.

jollyjumper 02.15.2007 01:28 PM

you're gonna talk me in to it are'nt you;)
