I hear you on the crappy stuff. I run the rupm knuckles and arms. I have fastlane shock towers, fastlane combo bulks, aluminum tranny with steel idlers, Ue titanium center shafts, rcraven bumpers, and it probably some other stuff to. How does that 9l do?

Mike_D 07.25.2005 04:10 PM

I think with the single speed it runs hot, like 160 to 180, depends on gearing. I think i might go with a 10l or 7xl, not sure yet.

The Integy works fine for racing(handles just like the UE), but the UE is a bit tougher and is also lighter. The Racer x suspension is about 2oz+/- over the stock suspension, so about the same as the full rpm set up. I am officially carrying the UE stuff now (have shocks and a few other parts in stock now, but will slowly build to carry most everything the offer(I also have servo savers and ti driveshafts from UE in stock). I will also create an unlimited Engineering support forum to these boards very soon! For now, I can get anything that is in stock on the UE website, and will do so upon request as I build my inventory.

The silver Integy pro 3 suspension has been out of stock for a couple months. I order it every week(hoping they get the hint!), but I have not been able to get it lately. If/when it comes into stock, I will surely re-stock these parts.
The UE racer x is without question a superior product, and it also carries with it a premium price.

thanks mike. I guess we got the answer on the questions we had. I still like the price of integy. I like the sound of tougher and lighter to.

Mike_D 07.26.2005 09:16 PM

This question is out to you mike, does the gorilla maxx suspension weight more or less than UE or Integy? Also whats the durability like? I like the gorilla maxx also because of the price but don't like that it does not come with any knuckles, i don't want to keep using my rpm's.

RC-Monster Mike 07.26.2005 09:55 PM

The G-maxx suspension is lighter than both the Integy and the UE suspension, especially when using 4 shocks(vs. 8). The durabilty is somehwer between the UE and Integy(tougher than the Integy, but the UE is made of 7075, which is a stronger grade of aluminum). I own all three suspensions, and love all three of them for different reasons.

Sweet, another UE supplier. Hard to get UE stuff in europe because stormer quit selling them(?) and ue itself doesn't take CC and nothing is ever in stock at their website. There was one store called gpracing in germany but they are waaaay overpriced.

So you will be able to sell the vbs system?

RC-Monster Mike 07.27.2005 07:29 PM

If they ever come back into stock, i will definately carry them.

Sicco... Planning on Ue's VBS....! you need to lighten your truck a bit with the heavy frame? ;) (sneeck runs an ultimate frame on his Maxx)

Sneeck 07.28.2005 03:10 AM

Yes I want to loose a few pound's.. Going lipo in a few month's and to save some more weight a vbs is the ticket I think.

I uploaded pictures of my truck to the picture gallery for anyone who want to see her.

coolhandcountry 07.28.2005 07:35 PM

I ordered the integy suspension tonight. Have to get truck fixed so can go testing. See if I like the way it drives.

Mike_D 07.28.2005 07:42 PM

Which integy did you order, the pro3?

coolhandcountry 07.28.2005 08:03 PM

Yeah the maxx racer x in blue type pro 3.

Mike_D 07.28.2005 08:51 PM

So i just broke a front bulk tonight, what kind of bulks do you use? This question goes out to you to mike and to anyone else who would like to throw in there opinion on what kind i should get.

coolhandcountry 07.28.2005 09:07 PM

I run the fast lane combo for the stock gears. I have hit telephone pole at 20. Came to dead stop. I have not broke nothing in that one. Crashed hard enough to kill my 7xl. It even knocked the pinion off the shaft. They are a strong bulk head. Not sure on weight wise though.
