I remember BPP's initial plan was to have more than one tray for different batteries, but mine aren't quite wide enough. Maybe the black ones are different from the gray ones that came with mine?

My black and gray ones are the same width around 50MM where the battery sits in, but total width is close to 60MM.

Hmm, thats odd. Mine I had to grind a little on the inside ~4-5mm to fit my 50mm packs...

Licnpimp, I'll go try and get a few pictures.

Thanks squee, I will call tomorrow about the parts.

Man the graphite kit looks awesome.

squeeforever 11.14.2007 01:15 AM

Thanks man. I actually almost bought yours since I didn't think I could get money before the auction on this one ended, but luckily I got the CF one. I was gonna get CF plates for it anyway.

lutach 11.14.2007 01:18 AM

I'm going to contact Brian to see if he still has the CF kit available. I asked him if he could make a center motor mount, but he never replied. If you can make your center mount work, I will buy one. All I know so far is that we will have to add some spacer between the plates and standoffs to clear some motors.

The XL motors should fit no problem. Even with a RC-M heatsink. I'll let you know when I get it machined. Might be a few weeks, but when I do, I"ll get a couple machined.

The Neu finned, Hacker C50 and Align 600L will not fit unless you widen the braces a bit. You will make the motor mount and the bearing support? Are you make the bearing holes lower? I'm asking this because the shafts are hitting the outdrives and it mihgt be adding a bit of drag in the drivetrain. I'll take a picture tomorrow so you can see the damage so far.

squeeforever 11.14.2007 09:26 AM

What I did was design it so its as low as possible for a low COG. Its designed to use a HB diff and as large as a Kyosho 46T spur.

The center shafts that is on my BPP, is the thick aluminum ones. I nocied you are using different center shafts. How are they holding up? If they are able to handle big power, where can I get them?

squeeforever 11.14.2007 02:48 PM

They are simply the stock center shafts for the LSP. David (MacII) did that before I got it. He had to drill 4 new holes though...

lutach 11.15.2007 03:25 PM

I forgot to mention that you should also make the holes to fit the 4MM screws that is used on the Neu 1521 and 1527 and the Lehners 22 series.

squeeforever 11.15.2007 05:16 PM

If it doesn't have the 22 series pattern, whats the point?
