well ya i could go with the 4s 8ah packs from true-rc for 140 but the main reason i want the a123s is because of the charge time. how long would a 8ah true rc pack run for? and how long would it take to charge?
im guessing hour to charge likea 30 minute runtime

Run for 40+ min, charge at 1.5 hrs I suppose....

well i guess if i got 2 of those packs i wouldnt need anymore runtime... gas trucks probably only have like a 10-15 minute gas tank and i dont think we will play with the trucks for more than 40 min atta time.

if i got 2 4s 8ah packs at 140 a peice i would think that those 2 packs plus my FP pack that should be plenty.

just wanted to update this.

the freind bought a REALLY old electric rustler off some guy and it looked like a peice of junk when he first brought it over but after about 30 minutes i fixed it up and its up and running really nice.

i put on an xps esc... some trinity motor.. got him 4 shocks... some intellect 3800 batteries and lots more.

hes REALLY excited about the truck and is pretty happy that i got it going for him.

he basically got a nice little rustler for 30 bucks. (i didnt charge him)

one more person is soon to be hooked!!

and i let him drive my xt8...

he was AMAZED by the power. he kept saying "no way... no way!!!"

so i think soon he will want a bl setup in his truck.

or maybe a big 4wd MT!
