johnrobholmes 01.22.2008 02:02 AM

Better have a programmer, cause the ones from Tower dont have the new firmware :D

jhautz 01.22.2008 02:03 AM

You mean the castle link?

johnrobholmes 01.22.2008 02:05 AM

Yep. I meant to say that the inventory Tower has does not have the new firmware.

jhautz 01.22.2008 02:11 AM

So my old castle link I used for my mamba 25 wont work on the sidewinder? The one I have is like 2 years old.

It should work, I don't see why not.

jhautz 01.22.2008 02:13 AM

So whats the new firmware do?

johnrobholmes 01.22.2008 02:17 AM

The new firmware enables brushed mode, and makes startup smoother. I will be able to give more details when it gets uploaded to the site tomorrow.

Oh, too bad I sold mine when I got rid of my rc18mt.... looks like I'll have to buy another. Anyone have a spare they want to get rid of?

You can if you have the Castle link. If you buy if from a vendor who will program if for you, you don't have any worries.
