TruckBasher 07.10.2008 08:37 PM

Well we have to be realistic...but maybe a bit pesimistic...I should have said

Means we have to play more with our MM and our truck a little longer

phatmonk 07.11.2008 07:05 AM

It seems that CC sure has sold alot of MMs for replacements for the MMM.I had 2 MM prior to my 2 MMM then sold both on ebay. When my MMM malfunctioned I bought 2 MM again.Thats 4 MMs in the last 5 months. I will end up keeping the MMs when I get my 2 MMMs back.I have had the chance though to perfect my soldering skills.HA HA?So whats the real timeframe on the MMMs return?:diablo:

Electric Dave 07.13.2008 08:56 AM

Any word from Castle here or on any of the other fourms?

TruckBasher 07.13.2008 09:01 AM

No word yet from CC and those MM (ESC only not combo) are also out of stock on most sellers (only see them available on ebay nowadays). One vendor said to me that CC is 3weeks late from delivering the MM. It seem my 2nd MM will arrive just a few weeks before my MMM. My 2 trucks are sharing same ESC :(

Electric Dave 07.13.2008 12:15 PM

Well hopefully Patrick or someone from Castle can comment tomorrow.

Edumakated 07.13.2008 04:39 PM

I hope it is soon. My third Monster Max acted up yesterday. I pulled over a for a second and all power just shut off. Dead as a door nail. After about a minute or so, it came back on and been driving ok. My regular Mamba is already at Castle for repairs and I have two Monsters there too... No way I am buying another.

Pdelcast 07.14.2008 10:26 AM

OK -- first testing build is done, all went well. We did have to change a few values to get everything to work perfectly -- but all is good.

Builds start today.

Arct1k 07.14.2008 10:27 AM

Congratulations!

TruckBasher 07.14.2008 10:29 AM

ok finally...thanks for that Patrick
hopefully we 1st batch (replacement MMM) will get theirs in a week or two...then its our turn...no i'm regretting that i only got 1 pre-order

jhautz 07.14.2008 10:30 AM

Sweet. Great news. :yipi:

I just sent my first MMM in to you guys today. It died a quiet death last weekend. Ran fine thru the qualifiers with no issues, but when the main came it just wouldnt turn on. I got it to boot up with a Rx pack plugged into the reciever, but that only lasted for 10 seconds before it quit again.

EDIT: This was after a good 20 hours of run time. It saw alot of action before it kicked.

Good to hear, I can not wait to have mine back and get the Revo running again. Two months with out it has brought on serious withdrawl. My other Castle powered things just do not equal the driving pleasure of the revo.

Cain 07.14.2008 10:59 AM

So what is the plan for those with working first gen MMM? If we want to send it in, can we get it replaced with the newer more reliable models that are on the way for free?

jhautz 07.14.2008 11:12 AM

I asked that a while back and Patrick said they would exchange/upgrade the older units if you want to send it in. But only after they get the failed units squared away.

I plan to exchange my 2 running units.

TexasSP 07.14.2008 11:25 AM

Great news so far, thanks for the update.

Cain 07.14.2008 11:28 AM

Good stuff. Will keep running then. When winter comes, will swap.

phatmonk 07.14.2008 04:25 PM

So then I will be seeing my 2 MMMs back this week next week?Whats a reasonable timetable at this point?:whip:

No problem... Be aware we will take care of people who have had issues first, before we take care of those who don't have issues.

So please wait if you don't have a problem.

Thanx!

e-mike 07.14.2008 06:50 PM

That's great to hear Patrick. I know mine is still working but being in the military stationed overseas sucks because of snail mail :diablo:. What mail service do you use for shipping to the military?

Never mind, I found out the answer from your website. I didn't realize you have a dropdown menu for the choices of shipping method. USPS Priority for me :intello:.

TruckBasher 07.14.2008 08:41 PM

How bout the pre-order Patrick? How long do we have to wait before this goes to resellers?

TexasSP 07.14.2008 08:50 PM

Ouch you hurt my 1 feeling:rules:

Electric Dave 07.14.2008 09:13 PM

Will there be any way to tell a v1.0 MMM from a v2.0 MMM? Serial Number? Something different on the case?

TDC57 07.15.2008 02:48 AM

I just don’t under stand you guys!! You roll over for CC and for what nothing really substantial to date! it's been a week or two for several weeks now!..

Lets get real for a moment shall we  the initial question still has not yet been answered, :oh: is there a date when CC will be releasing the second batch (??) I feel like I’m on a first date I might get lucky, I might not! and it still costs about the same anyway.

Not to sound like one of my girlfriend or my wife but lets get real for a moment and step up to the plate and provide a solid date / commitment here.

Thanks..

I might be missing something here  (if so I'm sorry for the rant) but I don’t think so..:whip:

[QUOTE=TDC57;191462]Lets get real for a moment shall we... I might be missing something here../QUOTE]

Yep, you forgot that we are all playing with big kid toys!!! Its not like we are waiting on cancer meds or something like that!!!

If it takes CC a few more weeks to iron out the detail, so be it. I have had people on this forum ask for me to finish my aftershock conversion for almost a year now. Not that anyone really cares about that...not compared to the MMM!!!

TDC57 07.15.2008 03:05 AM

Thanks for the reality check!.. Your absolutely correct they are just toy’s.

ogrfre01 07.15.2008 03:41 AM

5th of may huh? Not sure if anyone was working on stinko de mayo? I was drinking tequila myself...

tc3_racer_001 07.15.2008 03:49 AM

imo male connectors would be the best... u could just plug your batteries into it, how easy and clean would that be (until an idiot plugged them in the wrong way round!!)

I was thinking of that as he posted...prehaps they should also make May 6 and 7 a holiday also a kind of chill out day, like they have New Years Day after New Years Eve....
