Hi, people. I just scanned over this thread and I got overexcited. I am also working on my TB EVO IV car to make it a brushless bazooka. My setup is the following:
- 18.149 controller
- 1930/ 5t Hi-Amp motor
- 14 cells IBC (each cell will be charged at 7 amps).
- Front spool.
- rear ball diff with ceramic balls. ( the rear diff is my biggest problem).
I'll try to post pics of it when its complete and when I finish my final examinations- with God's help- I'll let you konw how every thing turned out like. Cheers.:)

I dont know whats going on with this project. Can't get a hold of Andrew at Cold Fusion racing to see when he can machine my parts. I payed like 2 months ago for the parts, and I know he has been busy, so I just tried to help him out, by not trying to bother him, and then when I do ask when he can machine my chassis, every week he says "this week" and now he still has my money, and I still have no parts.

I hope I didnt waste $350 on a brushless set up for nothing.

I hope all goes well, but I dont think it is going to.

I will hopefully let you guys know soon.

Thanks,
Joe

E-Traxxer 01.12.2006 01:14 AM

Andrew at CF racing is a good guy, or so I've heard. You shouldn't have to worry too much..

CrazyPhantom 01.12.2006 01:18 AM

Yeah, he has been really good, with helping me out with projects, and I help him out, he has been my machinest for a while. Im not saying you should go to him if you can get a hold of him. I am just saying I dont think this project is going to be finished, I just think he is too busy.

I really hope I can get a hold of him, or he contacts me soon, cause I really want to get this project done ASAP.

Thanks,
Joe

Re~Mix 01.12.2006 11:57 AM

he'll finish the work, he always has. Holds up a good reputation in the end.

CrazyPhantom 01.12.2006 06:59 PM

yeah. I have let it go before, and let him try to free up time by doing other work, and helping him out and stuff with money. But i think it has gone a little too long now.

Im just worried

MetalMan 01.12.2006 11:42 PM

Did you get my PM?

CrazyPhantom 01.13.2006 06:31 PM

yeah got it, now you got a PM back

CrazyPhantom 01.15.2006 03:37 PM

I have some updates on Andrew over at CFR. He had fried his harddrive one his computer, so He has lost all his CAD programs, and the files, So he is working on getting everything installed again. This is why he hasent been contact able because his comp has been scrude up.

So he should be already to go in a couple of more day.

Hey guys.

Just a little update. I got the chassis machined yesterday and I got some pictures today. The picture is posted below. I am going to solder up the BL system as soon as I get some thicker wire for the Mtroniks Pro controller.

I will keep you guys updated.

THanks,
Joe

MetalMan 01.25.2006 10:09 PM

That looks nice! Now you are making us wait to see the finished product... Can't wait to see it!

CrazyPhantom 01.25.2006 11:23 PM

Hey, I wish I wasnt making you wait ,I dont have the chassis yet. Those are pictures from the machinest. When I get it, I will show you guys some pictures with it all mocked up. Im prolly going ot polish the chassis to give it an even nicer look.

I will let you guys know,
Joe

CrazyPhantom 02.24.2006 06:31 PM

why dont you want to go through with it? it looks great btw!

coolhandcountry 02.24.2006 07:42 PM

I would like to know to. You just gave up on it.

nbcaznmaster 02.25.2006 09:54 AM

you got pm!

CrazyPhantom 02.25.2006 06:25 PM

Yeah, the time I was waiting for the chassis, I realized I wanted to get into racing, now I am building a scratch build truggy with alot of engineering and stuff. The truggy is sucking all of the cash out of me, and I currently have 8 R/c's and none run. So I am trying to get my truggy together.

You got PM back. . Let me know if anyone else is intrested.

Thanks,
Joe

Re~Mix 02.25.2006 06:29 PM

This truggy would be 1/10th, 1/8th? You've got me intrigued. I'd love to take on a speed on-road project, but the reality is speed runs are boring eventually.

CrazyPhantom 02.25.2006 06:40 PM

the truggy is a 1/8 truggy. If you are intrested in buying the project, or pieces, please let me know.

CrazyPhantom 02.25.2006 07:01 PM

nbcaznmaster empty your PM box so i can send you another PM

nbcaznmaster 02.25.2006 07:08 PM

oh sory! lol, its clear now
