School for me starts at the end of August. Usually it is ~Sept. 7th, but they are changing it for next year. I just hope my mom will let me travel by myself, since I could get a free airplane ticket and a place to stay at my aunt and uncle's house (assuming they would let me).

rchippie 01.25.2006 07:23 PM

My vaction time is avalible after april, so anytime after that would be cool. Were is barstormers at , lower or upper NY ?. It would be atleast a 20+ hour drive if i was to make the trip.

squeeforever 01.25.2006 08:11 PM

well for me school starts somewhere around the 10th to 15thish in august. it seems they move it back about 4 days every year since 2nd grade.....

Actually, 0 is enough to show up and enjoy the event, but the more chances you have to play the more likely you'll have more fun! :D

Rcbros 01.25.2006 09:51 PM

I hope you guys have fun. I live in oregon and if I were to go I would want to go with anything old lol.

So I'd end up buying an e-revo and buying lipos and the whole shabang. After I got there and back I would of dropped $4000 lol

coolhandcountry 01.25.2006 10:22 PM

What is 4 Gs? You talking about meeting people and spending time with the rc monster family. That is priceless. :D I got to go. I guess my savy is staying home to.

Rcbros 01.25.2006 10:28 PM

Yeah it wouldn't be to bad. Bad college starts soon too lol

Joe thank's for the link. I just did a search it is a 19 hr drive, for a total of 1,220 miles from my apt to the track.

Sneeck 01.26.2006 01:58 AM

My work start's probably the 7th of august. Still can try if I can get some day's off in august when there is a date set.

Also the temperture difference between july and august arn't that huge. It will still be warm / hot. Fan on controller and motor is a must.

poconoblmaxx 01.27.2006 10:52 AM

We need to set up some games for the event. Bobbing for Warriors, pin the tail on the Li-Po( boom), a Bl motor filled pinata. What do you think?:p

pin the lipo would be very hazardos and expensive
bobbing for warriors sounds good we can just put them in waterproof containers
bl motors in a pinata sounds good just make sure you dont get in the head(especially if u put a 30 series in there)
they all sound like good ideas but they would be expensive risky and dangerous   :p

boss 302 02.01.2006 09:11 PM

Sneeck 02.02.2006 01:42 AM

That's a fair price for 3 ticket's come to think of it.

Serum 02.02.2006 09:45 AM

LOL pocono..

We need 4 tickets.. I can't do this journey without the girl! Thanks for digging it up though!

Ozark-al 02.03.2006 01:57 AM

I should be done with school by then, as long as I don't start law school. I'm not sure if you guys want me on the same track with you, my maxx is heavy and I have very bad vision. Sounds like a great idea other than a blind racer with a brushless!!!

Shoot we won't nitice. Most of us will be beating and banging around there anyways. You'll fit in

boss 302 02.03.2006 04:15 PM

im pretty sure most of us are bashers and not racers so there will be a lot of banging around

Good thing we invited Stevie Wonder....

coolhandcountry 02.03.2006 07:14 PM

Just bring your 6 yr old along with you. You can let him drive around the track. ;)

Ozark-al 02.03.2006 10:06 PM

My 6 year old is the reason I am at this moment replacing the chassis on my maxx. When the chassis is the only plastic thing left on the truck I guess it's the thing that has to break. He really is a terrible driver. lol

coolhandcountry 02.03.2006 10:22 PM

well he is only 6. Give him another 10 years and see. If all else fail put fewer batteries on it.

LOL! I wish my dad were into RC, 'cause I'm 16 right now and could use a little support with my hobby (financially). I can't even get him to buy a RC car!

boss 302 02.03.2006 10:58 PM

i guess im lucky my dad likes rc cars and has one of his but my mom hates them. If i ask her if i can get something she always yells at me and says i dont need it. But im pretty sure you need a motor to move a truck without pushing it or sending it down a hill.

Ozark-al 02.03.2006 11:54 PM

I bought him a pede to learn on. I figured it's easy to drive and easy to learn how to work on. I was lucky, my mom bought me a hornet (that I still have RTR) when I was 10. I think there is a lot to learn from RC's, not just how to spend money.

Not by a long shot.... Should be a lot of good racing going on - as well as bashing - I was racing at the track last night - and i wanna get my Maxx inside on the track again. Last time RC-Monster Mike and I ran our G's we were smashing into the ceiling - That was a fun time - they were offering us money to break the lightbulbs for entertainment. That was :004:

And by the way - If you guys wanna see a couple of pics from the track

RC-Monster Mike w/ his truggy in this pic http://barnstormersrc.com/pictures/2...ght/index.html
RC-Me w/ my truggy in this one http://barnstormersrc.com/pictures/2...ght/index.html

And the general link to the track is http://barnstormersrc.com
