I have already been outbid on the RacerX, but I have been speaking with him, so I will see what I can do..

Cool deal, you won them...rock on!!! If I can find it in my insanely messed up RC Room, I have a Racer-X Rear Lower H-Arm in pretty good condition, and I will send it to you if you want it...I don't need it since I always run Setbacks on all my Racer-X Suspensions.

If i do decide to sell the UE chassis, i have to give a fellow in Netherlands first crack at it, as I promised him that a few years ago. I will post pictures here if you want - the truck is almost rtr, but only the chassis and a few other components on this truck in particular are UE. I have a 2.5 T-maxx with the smallblock Dace chassis, UE single speed and racer X shocks and suspension on it as well somewhere - used to be a kick-ass race truck back in the day. I plan on keeping the racer x, vbs setup on my old race G-Maxx, though(I hope to someday bring it back to show/race condition and keep it for posterity, as it has an original emaxx part on it somewhere(before widemaxx and before Novak ESC). The truck was really what got me started in business, though it changes many times through the years, Emaxx parts and hopups and brushless setups were my core business for the 1st couple years in business.

You can run the 8mm CVDs in the 15mm knuckles with the use of 8x15x5 bearings. They are a little bit difficult to find, but they are out there...and you can run them until you find a set of 16mm knuckles. Or, some people have successfully milled the knuckles to 16mm, so if you have a local machine shop, you could go that route. Maybe Mike might do it for you, as I am sure he can do it right.

VXB.com sells 8x15x5 bearings, but they are $9.95 each...almost $80 for the 8 bearings you need.
You could also sleeve an Avid RC 8x14x5 bearing to make it fit in the 15mm hole, and those are only $1 each! |

Chad so did you ever get the chassis? I live in CA and actually went in person and saw the chassis. It looked to be in good shape, but I think there was one stripped hole. He told me he had no trans mount. He also had the VBS with the skids but I didn't like the way some of the holes were ob-longed. Over all I didn't have a good feeling about the seller. Seemed a little shady to me.

No, I have not gotten the chassis...
So, you actually know this guy, and have personally seen the chassis in real life? |

So you saw the VBS, not the chassis? I am confused...

Mike I'd buy any low profile towers you have for 100 bucks, since you said you like low towers, as I do.

Here are a couple pictures of the emaxx and the Dace T-maxx with racerx suspension. The Emaxx also has the UE servo saver and 6mm UE cvds installed in it. The Lightning chassis is in great shape, but the braces have a few nicks and scratches from use. Overall condition is excellent.
The T-maxx has a UE fwd-only installed and has the original Racer-X suspension(15mm bearings) and UE shock set. The truck is in great shape, but has dirt on it from about 5 years ago(ythe last time it was raced), so it will need some clean-up. :) |

Funny
Its funny how these things never seem to go out of style. Even though they are now in the catigory of nostalgic they are still in demand. Someone's going to get lucky.

That sounds promising about the towers. Can we see more pictures? Do you have a few different kinds? I know Duh Engineering made a low profile set also out of titanium, GMaxx had a set, and two other companies I can't recall. |

Yes, I have an Ofna dominator with Proline bulks, aluminum Center diff and rear brake setup. I also has the Nova towers, UE shocks and racer x suspension(could be mixed UE/Integy, but I have "borrowed" parts from it) it also has a titanium extended chassis on it - it was my truggy before truggies existed. I probably have a Gmaxx tower set around as well as a Duh Engineering set if I looked real hard(Iknow I had a set at one time, but don't remember what happened to them). I have a set of Nova towers brand new - still in the bubble wrap, though. :)

allbloody - I hadn't really thought about selling the stuff until I saw this thread. I don't have any pricing in mind tbh but if the 'right price' comes along, then I will part with the stuff. Looking at the stuff I have is scary - if thee was more time in a day, I could rebuild some pretty badass retro rides. :)

The Dace T-maxx has stock(original) T-maxx bulks, skids, diffs and drive shafts. It was a race truck, so items were upgraded for performance reasons only - if a part added weight without performance improvements, it isn't on this truck. The racer x suspension, UE forward only tranny mod, UE shocks and Dace chassis, along with aftermarket servos were installed onto an otherwise stock 2.5 T-maxx(1st edition from several years ago - the very 1st widemaxx T-maxx when the 2.5 engine was introduced).

I do have a set of VBS on my G-maxx. They are not for sale, though. If you are interested in something in the pictures, feel free to make an offer via PM. I don't have a set price in mind for anything, but I don't plan on giving it away, either. The Dace truck has a lot of stock parts, but the upgrades it does have are high value. At the time, it had everything it needed to win, and nothing that it didn't need. :)

I am interested in the Duh Engineering Titanium Maxx Shock Towers...incoming PM!

Well, eBay Fraud Department is investigating...
