Ah, that could be slight issue, but there is a work around, of sorts. You would need to buy a single 2s lipo male balance plug (jst-xh/ align style) with the wires pre-attached, and solder it (first & third pins/wires) to one of the esc's battery connectors ( refer to that diagram I posted earlier to work out which one). Then, you would just need to plug in the lvc device to that balance plug to monitor your lipo during use- you wont be able to read the individual cell voltages though since you cant hook up all three wires on the balance plug, not unless you add a little bullet plug to the middle wire and plug that into the little hole on the lipo ( I take it you have hard case lipos that have 2 large and one small female bullet built into the case?).

Will this diagram help?

You could make a pigtail connector setup that looks like the above picture and permanently attach it to the lipo so you'll always have a balance tap and main wires no matter if you are running or charging.

Huzzar! :yipi:

Im at work currently so cant do any drawings like I normally would- that diagram is exactly what I had in mind for a more permanent yet removeable work around

Now, when I get home I can steal it and pretend its mine....

Careful with that. I set it up so if anyone outside the USA downloads it to their computer, it releases a virus that pees in your computer rendering it inoperational.

Additionally, if someone from England downloads the file, the virus also takes a nice dump too. So, not only is your computer broken, it smells too.

so 4s alarm or 2s alarm on Emaxx? what do you think Neil? Same price, but which one would save my batteries?

If you are using a pair of 2s lipos, then a single 2s LVC alarm is all you need, wired up as previously discussed ( see post #76 & #82 ).
