is that a nova in the back ground?

coolhandcountry 10.24.2005 08:47 PM

The white with a green lightening bolt on the side. Yes it is. It is my brother in laws drag car. No motor. been a 7.20 in the 1/8 mile.

squeeforever 10.24.2005 09:21 PM

whats it run in the 1/4?

coolhandcountry 10.27.2005 06:57 PM

Just got a timed run on a 9xl with gp 3300. The batteries charged up to 2934 in one and 3052 in the other. Run time is 15 mins. It is probably under close to race conditions. I tried to keep truck going at a good rate. Donuts and power slides. I hope this helps.

coolhandcountry 11.07.2005 09:41 PM

Okay! I got my new motor for it. I going to a 7xl feigao. My new crime fighter tires are in as well. I ordered up a center diff for it to. I will have to get back to you on speed. I want a video of the 7xl.

Okay! change of plans. I have took the aluminum tranny off. I have mounted a center diff in it. I have to wait on a couple parts to see how it is going to go.

Sylvester 11.30.2005 10:13 PM

Its looking very good, whenever i look at your truck its taken apart:p Where did you get that center diff?

coolhandcountry 11.30.2005 10:21 PM

I got the diff off ebay. I made the rest over the last couple of days. I am hoping the my motor comes in and mike gets my other parts shipped out. I am curious to how it is going to do. I have not drove nothing with a center diff. I will find out when finished. thanks for the kind words.

rchippie 11.30.2005 10:32 PM

It's a 1 lb solid billet of 7075-T6 Aluminum that's machined down to weigh a mere 68 grams.
Full stress analysis and optimization was done to ensure that it is up to our high standards of strength and durability.

This will fit any Maxx style chassis which has the stock mounting holes.

Serum 12.01.2005 12:45 PM

Another MUST have..

Thanks Papa!! haven't seen it..

Any idea on the price? i guess a 70 dollars..?

rchippie 12.01.2005 12:48 PM

Thanks papa that was my first attempt at posting a link.

Guerilla 12.01.2005 01:26 PM

So will it work with a gorillamaxx chassis?

The price info ect was on the thread on the ue website,

theres a link on the page before this ....

Serum 12.01.2005 01:36 PM

which went pretty well Hippie..

@guerella;

one page back, is a link to the UE forum, robin tells the answer to your question. (in the same post he does the 60 dollar privequote, which is not sure)

rchippie 12.01.2005 01:39 PM

it wiil fit any t or emaxx style chassis. Serum thanks my link posted the words but not the pics,

Papa 12.01.2005 05:26 PM

The thing that I find most appealing is the ability to run any skids that your application requires. In my case VBS.

coolhandcountry 12.01.2005 06:33 PM

That thing that I find appealing there it that you may be able to run more than one. If you mount to together you can run twice the extension on one truck and have it adjustible.

I got the motor plate ready and mounted with motor.

Serum 12.02.2005 07:55 PM

YEAH!!
nice and LOW

nbcaznmaster 12.02.2005 07:58 PM

lol, wats with u and low rc cars?

Serum 12.02.2005 08:01 PM

With that much power, you dont want them to wheelie too much...

rchippie 12.02.2005 08:24 PM

Cool that looks very good.

MetalMan 12.02.2005 09:52 PM

Huge! Looks nice! Only wish that I could afford that motor.

Dafni 12.03.2005 04:45 PM

Nice, Coolhand! That's how I always imagined it.

How did you choose the right wind motor? To what speed have you calculated it?

You don't want it to flip over like a lunchbox, do you?

coolhandcountry 12.03.2005 05:00 PM

I just figured in the cell count and kv the controler i was going to run. the gear ratio and it all come up with that. I got some help from promod. Thanks promod. I have not really calculated on speed yet. The motor has a hi torque rating so the gear ratio on final drive is a little lower than any other truck i have ran. I won't be able to test until next week if luck.

Serum 12.04.2005 05:53 AM

Here is a little calculator to help you out.

coolhandcountry 12.04.2005 08:27 AM

I had one that ran off windows excel. I don't have that so it didn't do much good. I check it out.

mack 12.08.2005 07:24 AM

lehner 2250

This is one nice looking lehner.
I am very curious how it performs.
Maybe wen I get used to my wanderen 9XL, I will get my self somthing like this to.

coolhandcountry 12.08.2005 08:19 AM

If you give me a little time I have to finish it up get it tuned in and then I going to try a video of it. I should be able to run in the 20 on cells. I am going to experiment with this as well. I not sure on the gearing so I start at one spot and keep and eye on it. I got the last few parts coming now. Hopefully it will be running by the end of the weekend.

mack 12.08.2005 08:25 AM

Can hardly wait on that video:C:

What controller are you going to use.

Good luck this weekend then.

coolhandcountry 12.08.2005 08:36 AM

Controller is a 36 120 bk. It has a 42000 rpm limit so I have to keep an eye on that. The motor is only 1134 kv.

I got the truck together today. It took it out for a test spin. Man is this thing awesome. :D I can't hardly put into words what this motor is like. I like the center diff as well. I got a couple pics of the truck. I do not have my extra long extension in front. I dropped that for I didn't have dog bone to run it at the time.

Yes i know the truck is dirty. I know the wires are not organized. I have a new esc coming to go on it so not worry on wires. I was excited to drive. This is a after shot and hadn't had time to clean it. I love this thing man.

Serum 12.09.2005 02:48 AM

Nice Leroy!!

Please get us a movie!

Dafni 12.09.2005 02:53 AM

Dafni 12.09.2005 05:11 AM
