The wattages for the motors you tested would be completely differnt on lipos i bet. If two 6xls are used and the amount of batteries required, you may end up with more than a 10 lb setup. |

the 25C enerland cells seem to hold their voltage better than the 30C's!
two 6XL's on 3S? that makes no sense at all. |
The best cells I have run from a voltage drop perspective are my EVOs. My Thunder Power Extreme cells were very good too, but they do not last long under the abuse I put them through.

Ok found out some of the other setups....don't know the gearing on them, but they are all limited to 10lbs mins and 3S or 10cell so that evens the playing field up.
2- e-savages - 1 dual MM5700's, 1 -running Neu 1515-1D 6- emaxx's - 2 running dual Velineons (one of them mine), 1-Novak 4.5, 1-running dual 7XL's, 1 running dual Nemesis 6XL's, 1- running twin BK 6L's. 1 - E-revo running 6.5 Novak 1- T-maxx running twin Lehner basic XL4200's A few others are entered, but running brushed setups and I don't think they will be contenders.... Should be an interesting turnout. |
Sounds like a very cool class!! I would love to build a truck for it. Also like the cell limit and weight limit.
Make sure and take some pictures/vids and lets us know what happens. Promod |
Yeah should be...I'm in the middle of building my other truck/setup as the race isn't till the end of the month. That is why I started this post for some advice. Talked to a few people and twin Neu's were out since the cans hit each other with anything smaller then a 62 spur, so I went with twin Nemesis 6XL's and twin 9920's. We''ll see how it runs.

Should run good. You will be surprised at how high you can gear it. If your allowed to run with no body I found that gains a little speed. Just don't wreck:lol:

Have to run with a body.....booooo..lol
