I was going to call you guys "end users", but I thought that was going WAYY too far! I don't need drive-by's at my house!

What happened to the Lehner motor specs in the calculator Brian?
|
I took them out because Mike no longer has them and the list was getting kinda long for something fewer people have. Actually, they are still there, just commented out. I suppose I could add them back in but put them at the bottom of the select list...
|
Great program love it and use it alot, the Emaxx 3905 and new erevo come with 32p 68t stock spur and you have everyone but that one as far as I can tell, any chance of popping that in there next time you get a cravin to update ?
|
Done. Also re-added the LMT motors, but they are at the bottom of the list now...
|
Brian re Buggy / Truggy / Truck comment it was in the brushless motor selector item.
You have a field for "Enter approximate vehicle weight (?): " I was thinkink that this could have drop downs based on typical weights for a Buggy / Truggy / Truck... I guess 8 / 10/ 12 lbs? PS HP Pro in "Enter Front/Rear Differential Gear Ratio " is Hot Bodies LSP and could move into HPI... Great series of updates! Buy yourself a pizza! ;) |

Someone submitted "HP Pro" to me a while back and had no idea what it was. I don't follow the vehicle names as closely as most of you guys do. Anyway, I renamed it and moved it to a newly created "Hot Bodies" heading. BTW: Don't enter "hotbodies.com" while at work. It's "hotbodiesonline.com". I really should have known better. Thanks! Can I buy myself Subway instead? I like that better... Also fixed a bug in the wiring page when using FireFox that someone over at the Traxxas forums found. |

Silicone Oil Mixture Calculator
This calculator is based on the code from http://www.gesilicones.com/gesilwiza...ng/fluid2.html. Viscosity of Fluid A 45 Viscosity of Fluid B 30 Target Mixture Viscosity 60 Mixing Percentages Fluid A 171% Fluid B -71% I know non a valid scenario but you could have validation on input that Fluid A >= Target >= B or B >= Target >= A. |
Temperature Calculation - Any thought of adding Kelvin?
|
Two Speed Gear Mesh Calculator - Might want to add a note that this is for Mod 1 gears
Thanks all |
Arct1k, are you trying to find work for me to do?
Fluid calc: Good idea. Didn't change it too much from the original aside from visuals. Might add that feature. Temp Calc: I think C and F are good enough. Who (besides you apparently) uses Kelvin when measuring temps? Two-speed mesh calc: Why does it matter what pitch it is? I know the code is technically using Mod1 to get the gear diameters, but the ratio is what matters. The only reason Mod1 is currently used is because I was going to add shaft-to-shaft distance, but decided not to, and didn't feel like changing the mesh code again. |
Medusa motors run 60k max rpm not 40k.
:D |
Fluid calc: NP
Temp Calc: Well Kelvin did... and it is rather cool ;) Not seen too many people measure distance in rods either Two-speed: Hmm yes - its all relative... |

Added the extra oil mixture validation. Added the CRT diff ratio. The fix for the erroneous 40k rpm warning for the Medusa motor was a little different. The 60k rpm limit was entered correctly for that motor, but my warning system was using the old drop-down list method, so it was actually giving you the rpm limit of a whole different motor. Fixed now. |
