Sure thing! If Ron Popeil is still around when I finish it I'm gonna have him do the marketing.

FYI: My webserver is currently down, so the calc is unavailable until it comes back up (forgot to pay the bill). Until then, you can download the ZIP file and use it on your computer.

Love the "easter egg" 1:1 car tire size page. Never saw that before.

FYI I think there is an error on the LPR Crimefighter tire size in you R/C Tire data page. My LPR Crimefighters measure 5.8" not 5.25". I'm betting you got that from Tower who if I remeber correctly also has the wrong size at 5.25"

IIRC, most of the tire sizes came from Arct1k - I never confirmed them. I assume he did all the hard work of doing the research, but I dunno where the data came from. I'll fix it after the site comes back online...

Arct1k 07.14.2008 11:43 AM

They did - the LPR's tire sizes weren't listed on the prolineracing site so I think I got them from tower - I had nothing else to validate the measurements against.

Something happened to the speed calculator for some reason... it worked yesterday, but now (today) when I go on it, it says: Error 404 - Not found

Any ideas?

Check this post above, the server is currently down.
Just download it if you need it.

Must have missed where he said that. Sorry!

BrianG 07.15.2008 12:26 PM

In case it's not obvious, the site is back up. Sorry everyone for the inconvenience.

So LPR would be the almost the same size as E-Maxx tires?

Arct1k 07.15.2008 01:54 PM

How are you finding 1and1

BrianG 07.15.2008 02:04 PM

I like them. No troubles so far (except when I forget to pay my bill). Once in a while, I get an email from them saying one of my scripts is malware, but I just tell them it's not and wait another 6 months before they send the same email. Other than that, it's fine. No downtime that I know of. Domain name and lots of space for ~$30/year.
