A kit or even sell the plans to convert. You could stand to fund a few rc products with that kind of endeavor. In fact I think at this point there is a lot that can be gained from making full conversion kits for different vehicles.

I know novak is jumping into the conversion market, but it requires the use of their motors and systems which is pointless to me as I have no desire to use novak brushless.

I agree with Mod Man, go with the hv110, sure no brakes, but who needs brakes anyway! But really, if u need brakes, i have seen projects in which they use disc brakes on each wheel.:surprised:

I think I'm leaning towards the kontronik 55-10-32 to use with my mega 22/45/2, I would run 10s or 11s a123 with that. I assume it runs the mega ok. I also contemplated a nue and quark on my 6s2p a123. 6s2p would technically have more power than 10s1p because of the extra cells. Decisions Decisions.:neutral:

Well thanks, thanks alot ! Just what I need ! One more damn project I now have to build !! I ran FG 5th scales for awhile they were fantastic !! The only problem with them was that not very many people could afford them ! We usually found ourselves running with only 2 to 4 people and sometimes not even that many . Well maybe this could be interesting for you. This is a video showing my 10s1p A123 + jazz55 + Neu 1515/2Y setup compared to a 6s2p A123 + MGM 16018 + Neu 1515/1Y setup. Both truggys do wheigh around 11lbs. The truggy with 6s2p used a 1.4sek ramp up time. Nonetheless he could easely keep up with the very "brutal" ramp up time of the Jazz. The 6s2p setup is slightly faster due to higher rpms and gearing choice.

Temperature of both motors were about the same at the end of the run (60 degree C). The 1Y was finned and passively cooled, the 2Y a smooth can with 2 small fans. Eventhough i used 2 cells less, my runtime was slightly higher. I personally would go with the HV setup. But either way you will have more then enough power for your fantastic built.

The servo is aready mounted on the front upper deck. I have several runs on it already.

Yeah... and the cool thing is this kind of Baja is much lighter than the real deal so it doesn't require an insane type motor/esc/battery setup as the 25lb car would need.

exactly. Plus there are tons of maxx hop -ups that can be used. Arms, diffs, tires, etc.

Runtime hovers between 6.5-8 minutes when driving this way.
. 10s1p A123 (2300mah) setup: Eagletree logs showed: Average amp draw was between 18-22A @30V -> 550-650 Watt average.
. 6s2p A123 (4600mah) setup: calculated from runtime the average amp draw must have been between 35-42A

Gearing:
Both truggys were not geared properly for those short straights. Motor temperature was too high.

. 10s1p A123 setup: 1:14.56 and the motor reached 32000rpm. Calculated top speed: a bit less then 40mph with ballooning badland tires.
. 6s2p A123 setup: 1:15.11 with an estimated motor rpm of 38000rpm. Calculated top speed: a bit more then 40mph with GRP Grip tires.

While driving we both said that the 6s2p A123 setup was a bit faster. But this is hard to tell when driving on such a small place.
