sealed endbells for one. And I'm not sure if the y22 does, but a lot of air motors that size have a 2.3mm shaft, the yc has a 2mm one.

Sealed end bells would be nice. I bought the y22s and I was just going to electrical tape the holes. The shaft fits the m18 pinions perfectly so I assume it's the same as the castle one.

I ran the Hyperion Y22s 6000kv in my M18MT with my stuttering quark and I was very surprised to see that the stuttering had almost completely disappeared. I have no idea why but I like it as I can now use the Mamba 6800 and micro pro in the mini-t and the quark and y22s in the m18. Sammus I can check the fit of the y22c in the mini-t for you if you'd like. I don't see why it wouldn't fit other then you will need to dremel the motor plate out for the mounting holes on the motor. The protruding bearing carrier doen't stick out as far as some motors either.

What is the difference between the yc22s and y22s? I know the yc is for cars but what have they changed?

The Yc can is enclosed like the Tekno Neu while the y22 is open...the Hyperion motors were originally made for airplanes like the Neus

O well, nothing a little electrical tape can't fix.
