I seen one where they jump an all alloy savage off a roof, I think they bent like one arm and two shock shafts? Drove away fine though.

www.slapmafro.com got nothing on those guys, their stuff's good but doesn't have the slightly crazy touch to it in my opinion.

They also don't throw in random 1:1 full scale car idiocy either. :D

Trilordy rocks... I watched every single video....
I think I want a brushless JET.... cuz them things fly...

I think it's now safe to say that I've been officially thread hi-jacked. :L:

Well I ran it today, used the cop radar, and ran 32mph consistently and 33mph for a second.

Can't wait to get some gears.

aqwut 09.29.2005 12:08 AM

Hey, you can use the same Spur Gear I'm using.... I'm using a 42 Teeth 32 pitch spur gear.. haha..

that thing's so small man.. it's as big a Canadian Toonie....
My Pinion gear's almost the same size... 35 Teeth..

Why don't you stick a 100 Tooth pinion on ur Rig Nitro.. It'll go 100000 MPH.. :)

What gearing did your try nitro for the 32 mph run?

nitrostarter 09.29.2005 08:16 PM

The same 16/66 gearing.

My first radar try when I only got 30 wasn't too hot. The stat trooper was in a rush, i caught him in a hurry. This time I was watching the radar and seeing what I was running, also going way further and letting her spool up for a while.

way past 30mph

Here's a little update. All I have to say is WOW! 37mph is fast for an R/C. I was running by cars on the street like they were standing still.

I just got the 14T mod1 pinion along with the Strobe slipper w/ 51T mod1 Spur from Mike. It runs great, 37mph great! I flipped her over and slid on the body quite a few times.

I also picked up a temp gun. Cool little job here. I forgot it in the truck during the run, I was too excited to see the difference, but I got some temp readings after a full run on 3300's. I got 170.4F on the motor and 139.8F on the BK18120(fan was not running so I'd imagine cooler).

did you get a chance to try a 15 t? Just curious.
