Probably. You could use the steel spur as a template for the four holes.

Do they make a plastic spur for the hyper ST centre differential?

If it is the std plastic case non-spider design, a kyosho plastic spur will work. They only come in 44 and 46t though, but should work since the st has 11/43 diff ratio.

Here is a link to the gear that will fit the gtp: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXBM16&P=7

James that gear would be the easyest to use since there would be no modding needed . I was just trying to use the stock ratio if possible .

That is the gear I use on my gtp with the kb45 motor. I have not had any issues with it so far. I do not like steel spurs due to the noise, and the only 6mm bore pinions I found were not hardened, so I had to use a plastic spur.

Thats the reason i want to use the plastic spur because of the noise .

That is the main reason I use them. And hopefully it is slightly weaker than the glue used to hold the magnet on the motor shaft. I would rather replace the spur than the motor.

Just put a stereo on your vehicle. And yes, it's possible (I've done it).
