Thats what happens when you bash hard, but it is all part of the fun.

Not trying ot bust on you... but I tried to make a thread to post pics etc of my stuff so it's not all over the forum. ;) I think I need to work on a website and just link to that... does that work good for anyone? I have seen a few guys do that but I tcan't think of too many guys here that have websites or pages with their stuff. |
I did a little racing today... it was good and bad... and had some fun.
I have a short video clip to show... just have to decide where to post the info. |

Awesome! I am currently doing a conversion for a 777. Can I ask where you got your pinion gear from? I am having a hard time finding the correct pitch. Thanks, Steve |
Thanks... you need mod1 pitch pinions.
www.rc-monster.com has some as does starluck-rc.com also you will find some made by Century, the r/c helicopter company. |

I am using a Mamba 5700 motor which has a 1/8 inch diamiter shaft. It appears that all they have availible that works with the metal spur gear is 5mm bore. Do you know of an adapter or sleeve to make the 5mm bore pinons work with the 1/8 inch shaft? Thanks. |
Shoot Mike an email, i think he can make an adapter for you.
|
Yeah.. I think he has had some 1/8" bore mod1 gears before...
EDIT: woah... you are using a MM5700 in a 777? That motor is way too hot (too high kv) for a 1/8 buggy and it's undersized too. It will run but it will get very hot. You can try it but watch the temps and see what happens... I think you will be picking up a new motor very soon. And it will have a 5mm shaft... ;) |
12,13,14 and 15t should be available in 1/8th bore any time soon. But that motor is a concern indeed!
