It does look good indeed!

Thats very nice, very very nice. Q though, where did you get that little blue antenna mount from? And those poor, wrinkley hands... use some moisturiser man!

Good grief.. Neil, i didn't expected your Nivea hand-care tip.. Didn't saw it coming.. :p For the sake of this thread; the blue antenna mounts are K-factory, they are available in 1/10th and 1/8th in several colours, and they come with 2 antenna straws.

Yeah; NewE; that's a FLM savage cup; it needs spacers to make it work though (like 2 gaskets) and yes, these are UE outdrives.

Looks nice Serum. I was gonna go with the savage cup myself on the V1, so I realize it needs the spacers (make a perfect diff :P), let me know how it pans out. I didn't realize however the cups would work with the Hot Bodies diff, did you have to do any mods to it?

Serum 05.23.2007 12:57 PM

Nope, it's a 1:1 fit for the savage FLM cup.

Oops, I meant the drive cups...not the FLM cup...my bad Serum.

Serum 05.23.2007 01:07 PM

Yeah, the drivecups are a 1:1 fit for the FLM cup. No experience with these UE drivecups in the HB C8019 diffcups.

my guess is that they work, and otherwise you could shave off a bit from the bearing support.

Thanks Serum, good info to know. The V2 is definately sexy. it looks like it sits further toward the front, would this make the maxx handle a tad better? I also noticed you are not using the extended, is this because the V2 does sit so far upfront? Sorry to be a pest, was just curious...:032:

Serum 05.23.2007 01:14 PM

No, i use this pics as a reference for the install how-to; it comes with the driveshafts for the extended version. (gmaxx also includes the extension with the new e-maxx chassis)

The slipperential and motor are a bit more to the front, yes.

neweuser 05.23.2007 01:18 PM

That makes sense. Very nice job by the way, waay sexy Serum.

Serum 05.23.2007 01:32 PM

Yeah, big compliments to Mike!

captain harlock 05.23.2007 04:32 PM

Congrats! You've become an administerator.
