yeah, plenty. A little air movement goes a long way.

I'll be running it monday at my local track with my friends and I'll check its performance.

RC-Monster Mike 07.08.2005 07:29 PM

Cool. LMK how it goes!

captain harlock 07.08.2005 07:31 PM

Sure, I will.

I think that if I change the spur gear from bigger to smaller that will give me a more accurate FDR, unlike if I have changed the pinions, since the drop of three teeth from the spur equals one tooth drop from the pinion. What do you think?

I ran my car on wednesday at the track and one of my friends tried it and all I can see on his face is an expression of amazement and impress. However, he told me that the car has so much torque and I might need to increase the no. of teeth of the pinion gear to decrease the spinning of the wheels and increase the speed of my rig. He told me so after I told him that my motor and U-Force 75 were very hot. I dont know what help can you provide. The car became incredilbly powerful and fast with this setup, by the way. Faster than I want it to be, but the setup is getting pretty hot.

Perhaps a fan would keep the heat in check. You will have to play with the gearing a little bit. It could be overgeared or undergearewd. Try gearing down and see if the heat lessens, and try gearing up as well and note the temps. It will take a little playing around to find the "sweet spot". I always dial the power out a bit on my radio if I need more control. Just a tip you may use, if you have an adjustable radio.

I am using a fan already, but no use. I'll change the gearing from 9.1:1 to 8.30:1 since I've noticed that the car is truly undergeared and there is some unwanted torque and power which I can sacrifice in order to make the car more stable and controllable. Loosening the diff a bit will help as well.
