My local track has a pretty good size straight away and I want to pull hard on it. I believe it was measured out to be 150 ft. Would you know if a sway bar can be incorporated onto the gmaxx race suspension?

Anything can be done. just a matter of how much time and energy you have to put into it. Do you need a sway bar? Maybe a lower and slightly stiffer setup will get your body roll in check? If you do it, do it on the rear (or you may loose some steering). It would be easy to do with a 4 shock set-up. you could mount the sway bar to the unused shock mounting holes on the a-arms and attach the bar to the bulkheads somehow with the turnbuckle screws. I haven't found the need in my g-maxxes. The cg is so low the body roll is nothing compared to a stock maxx.

I dont think I will need one since my setup is the race suspension with the proline powerstroke with "ultra stiff" springs. I was just curious after looking through various sites. I should be placing another big order from you soon.:D

I think you will find that a sway bar is unnecessary. Let me know how you like the powerstroke shocks. They certainly look and sound like they work well, and I would be interested in knowing your thoughts on them.

As soon as I get them mounted on the truck I will let you know.
Just to let you know I really enjoy your site. I havent seen any type of bashing towards another product or member like in other forums. This actually feels like the "perfect community". |
Thanks for the kind words. We will certainly do whatever we can to maintain the neutral and friendly environment. This is definately not the place to bash other people or products. The forum is for sharing of ideas and information. I appreciate your contributions as well.
