I'm just as excited as u guys. In fact, i have just emailed Mike asking him to quote me a price on the MMM so that I can pay him & be in the waiting list.

Maybe u guys should too so that Mike can build u an order & wrestle some of the first batch of production units from CC.

No favorites here. I'm going for "first available" wherever that may be. If it's Mike, that's fine. If not, he has plenty of my money.

I'll most likley be getting mine from Mike, I've got to pick up a motor mount and a fiegao for my hyper 7 anyhow.

Besides I love the forum, and I have yet to get anything from RCM to support it.

no offense to anyone, but if you want to be first to get one it only makes sense to pre-order with CC if they offer it! I did that to get my 5mm shaft from Novak and I got it before anyone realized it was available. Their website was still showing pre-order only still for about a week after I got mine! So unless RCM is going to get them before they're released to the public I think direectly from CC is the best bet!

Personally, I don't mind waiting for a few of you guys to guinea pig this first :). By the time I'm convinced, and ready to buy, getting from rc-monster shouldn't be a problem. I really don't like to be the first to have something new, especially when the something new is going to set me back 300ish, and may have some first run bugs to be sorted out.

There's your info on the pre-order, and if you go to post number 484 on the "MMM Availability Date Dropped" thread, you'll see the reference to the April 14th date. Granted, it does say "around" and not "exactly" when refering to that date. :oops:

Joe told me he would put me on a list of people to notify when the pre-order happens.

I e-mailed him & asked how I pre-order it & he replyed back "We're not accepting them at this time, but I'll put you on the list.
When we begin accepting them I'll shoot you an email."

Actually the first word that came to my mind when I found out it was a hoax was "misrepresentation" - not "fun" or "funny". I will say it does make it a little more palatable knowing Joe was in on it.

i think the mmm is going to come out April 19 because that is when RC x is.

There might be a big song and dance about the MMM at RCX but if the MMM is ready to ship before then Castle will be shipping it. Enough people already know about the MMM there would be no point in holding it back.

Jtracker is my Nephew and I was at the Toledo show also. The little joke was not done to be mean. I know it could be interpreted as such but we have been waiting for this thing just as long as any of you. No ill intent meant.

Joe is one really cool guy. It was real nice to talk to him.

I hope Joe doesn't care if I say this, but the Mamba Monster is finalized and ready but the mold for the case was inadvertently dropped and broken. So that is what they are currently waiting on. At least that was the impression I got from Joe.

As far as the size, I thought the foot print wasn't too bad. I wish I would have measured it. The fan makes it kinda tall and the caps are higher than the heat sink.

I really liked the 6.5mm board mounted connectors.

There was talk about a broken mold a while ago. That was a long time before the recent pictures of the case though.

Oh OK, if that is old news then I would say that they could be behind on the production of cases, being there is apparently only one mold. Could take awhile to build up some stock. Just throwing that out there. I know very little about the process and how long it takes to make one case.

i heard the answer would be yes. but until i see the manual, i am not sure of how true that is. know what i mean?

yah i asked because o ebay i might be able to get a almost ne max amps 6 cell lipo for 150

i dont have lipo yet, nor do i have BL. i am waiting for the MMM so i can buy a feuiego 8XL Wanderer and haul a$$.
