cool ben should be running in no time now
also i believe that a arm on the wheelie bar is from a savage as well |

if i can find an allen wrench to fit my motor screw im gonna go run now ;D
it lives... then its physically impared
ran the truck for about 5 mins, it was awesom! wayy too much brake though (front flips) wheelies were gracefull and long...then the spur stripped... |
dont see why you have spur problems.... i run plastic and i RARELY strip one. I did however get a stock of them and have yet to use a spare.
it was the esavage 32p one, im swapping to mod1 now
get the stock savage ones they are mod1 and work great IMO
had one, stipped teeth of it when the first motor fried..
bent a left rear shock, no idea how
you are just a bad egg i guess. Like i said when i first built it i bought a bunch thinking i would strip them and have yet to do so.
send one my way ;)
Hey Ben look, I found your totally oddball sized bearing.......
http://www.vxb.com/page/bearings/PROD/6mm/Kit7450 We're even now right? :lol::whistle: |
No mention of me sending you a free spur? :na:
yes thanks to chris and BL_RV0 for there help and support, not to mention mr LincPimp
Can an E-Savage motor plate retrofit to a Warhead tranny? If you still have it it could be a good fix to the problem.
Anyone ever try it. It could help me too....I wouldn't have to look for an E-Savage tranny for my WH. |

Damn USPS sure like to beat the boxes up... |
aint that the truth!
Run report, ran the truck today, picked up a 47t spur from the lhs, im having in odd problem, when ever i run the slipper always works itself loose, i have tried backing it with another nut, locktite, two locknuts and just plain crankin on it'. still comes loose.. nothing has broken except the wheels on the turkey bar, spoked rims dont like to be landed on.. I was doing a speed run, WOT donw the street, hit a pothole and it sent the truck into a hard right turn, the badlands caught that edge and sent the truck into a spiral-parts flew out...:( the truck landed perfectly on its wheels.. nothing even scraped the ground except the wheelie bar, now to solid knex wheels :D but anyways the parts that flew out were the front center dogbone and the drive cup that popped off. easily fixable:D after 15mins of running the 8xl was barely warm, lipos wer cold and the MM was cool (40mm fan on it) |
Sounds like the 8xl is running just as I expected. Mine always ran cool in the savage.
running cooler then i expected, really powerful too, turkey bar is doing its job :D
YAY ,turkey bar,
have you looked into using these- http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXK154&P=ML
Ive used them for 3 wheelie bars now and their excellent tires. The rims and tires are a harder type of rubber so they wont shatter and they flex extremely well. |
i think i fixed the problem, solid knex wheels, if not i dont think they make a wheel with 5/16th hole
truck is up for sale if anyone is interested

Just get it going and your dumping it already???!!! Bash a little!!!!
You have to get rid of that Stock WH body...it's aweful. It seems to small for the chassis. I put a Cen 7.7 body on mine and it seems much better proportioned. I'm sure a crowd pleaser designed for a Cen would look better than my stocker, but... I just turned the body mounts arround and drilled new holes. See Pic........... |
just dont think its for me, id rather have a flat chasis car, if your interested pm me, lettin it go cheap
