3906 with 2.5r drive shafts all around ... snaps like twigs :oh:
2 x 6cell 4000mah battīs Need 3.3 drive shaft and diff ... would that be enough ? |
i dont think the 2.5's or the 3.3's will be enough.. you might need somehybrid diffs for 6s, and definatley get steel idlers for the trans
|
How ībout on 4s ? or is that to low volt ?
I only have two 6cell NiMh battīs at the moment Iīd like to get a few set of A123 cellīs I heard they were safer compared to some LiPoīs |

Thankīs :great:

How about, in "motor selector" there is vehicle weight, but is it lbs or kg or something else??
|
If your willing to add Then cen matrix Tr, the diff ratio is 2.8888888 9/26.
Spur gear is 66t stock. :intello: |

Looks like it's time for a small update. Before I go making the changes and FTP'ing everything back up, are there any other additions to make (mainly ratios and the like)? |
Just wanted to say that that whole site is great, it even helped me on school today!
I didn't knew what the teacher meant with Parallel and in Series, he couldn't explain it good to me, but after seeing some things on that site I get it :yipi: The only thing that could be better is more cars in the Speed Calculator.. ( More Diff ratio etc. ) - Patrick |
Lol, glad it helped, although I never thought it could be used as a teaching aid!
I add ratios for any car I have or am thinking of getting. Then, I add any ratios people submit. However, the ratios have to be tooth counts of the two (or more) gears, rather than the final ratio. Posted ratios are typically rounded and introduce errors in the final calculation. So, I use the tooth counts, do the math (keeping high precision), and only round the display value. So, if you have any of that info, feel free to post it! And as a side note: I am currently working on another similar project for Mike, so any additions will help him in the long run as I will be borrowing much of the data from my site. |
Brian,
Your calculator is awesome. It was dead on with the speed I got from my BPP truggy. Great job. |
Glad to hear it! Just curious, was it the theoretical max speed, or the adjusted speed?

Do tell - what is the project? How can we all help?
