Interesting, wounder if castle will offer certain "stock winds" with the mmm or just as a seperate part number. That way any major distruibutor will be able to get them, just through castle. That way my lhs can stock them! And I can "test" them for the lhs!

Answers.
Well that sure answers a lot of questions that have been flying arond here for the last few months:yipi:. Sounds like some one has been doing their homework and this is going to be a very good deal for us:yes:. All the hype seems to be coming out just like they thought it might:yes:. CC is going to be doing a lot of business the rest of the year. Way to go Patrick and Huray for us. Now when can we order??????

GOD! this is crazy. I cant recall the last time I was ever this happy or anxious to get sometihing RC related. I cant freaking wait and this is definately great news to have castle as the main Distributor of Nue's powerplants because Now I can order them through my hobby shop with no problems. Great thinking Castle!
Now if Castle can come up with their own version of the Dean's plug to handle the HV |

Personally.
Personally I prefer the Traxxas HV plugs better due to their shape and size they are much easier to connect and disconnect:yes:. As for the excitement I think everyone is feeling it now. This is a product three years in the making and from what we have seen so far it looks to be the ultimate ESC for Monster truck junkies, and should prove to be a good controller for other applications as well:yipi:. Within a few days CC will be flooded with orders to get this long awaited pheonom out the door and into our vehicles:whistle:. You should be excited, and hopefully the product will be all that we have heard it to be:rules:. What a great opening for the summer break:intello::lol::party:. Have a great week guys.

Tricky.
I agree they can be a bit tricky at first, but if you really read the instructions and follow exactly what they tell you to do it all works out. I had a little trouble on the first couple of tries, but finally got the hang of it. You have to be careful not to get any solder past the locking ridge on the gold tabs, or they will not lock in. Once you get them locked in correctly though they will not come out when you are (plugging and unplugging) them. Plus there is a little room for the insulation so it actually goes inside of the connector, which protects it from showing bare wires. I also place a short piece of heatshrink over the end of each wire to give it a little bit more protection. All in all once you get them installed properly they give you more of a plug to grip during use than the Deans pugs do:intello:.

ok castle now distributes the NEU motors which is kinda signal that NEU will step definitvely into the car-segment of the rc hobby. i hope they now take the chance and redesign their motors so that they are really car-capable also for heavy dirty offroading. meaning to close the front and endbell, motorcan out of one piece (no frontbells) and fix the endbell with screws. make them similar to plettenberg. with all the windings they offer it would only then really be what they already claim, namely 'top notch' motors for car-applications.
bye rhylsadar |
Little consern here that the "MMM/neu type" package is going to go away in light of the neu's being a distributed item.... I realy want the package deal ~$300......
