imma laugh, " man i hit the throttle pulled a wheelie, then it just flipped and colors were everywhere!"

Takedown 08.02.2008 04:27 PM

I see you flipped around the tranny. I was thinking about doing it but didnt want crazy wheelies because the lipo would have to be placed in the rear.

brushlessboy16 08.02.2008 04:43 PM

there is still room for the battery in front, but the trans is now lower and further forward then before, servo came in today :yipi:

massive load of parts should be here on monday... if i mom doesnt flip *explative* i accedentally broke the card slot door on her digital camera and she wants me to return all my parts in order to pay her back for it.... ugh

Takedown 08.02.2008 07:31 PM

Just say you cant and will not return it. Simple as that...

brushlessboy16 08.02.2008 09:52 PM

Good luck. I hope the windings arent f'ed up aswell which they shouldnt be because of the higher "c" rating capability. Anybody know what stock feigao windings can handle? Because i know that Neu windings can handle 200c which is pretty outstanding.

brushlessboy16 08.03.2008 11:21 PM

i hope not...

and i hope the rotors are a direct fit..

now begins one of the longest waits in the history of man... equal only to when i get my first hobby grade RC.... W00t Rusty xl-5 :yipi:

Shocks and 8xl came in today.. they are HUGE!

brushlessboy16 08.04.2008 08:01 PM

news flash....

just got the warhead together...
pretty sure i got screwed over on the 8xl ran good for the first few seconds.... then went south.

I set the truck on my floor, and fired it up-calibrated my MM, everything was good.
forgot reverse stength.... did a frontflip on my floor, WOOHOO

then shut it down, took it outside on our concrete patio.. started up just fine... went off throttle just enough to move then it locked... then noticed that the rotor had almost a full centimeter of play...

Pretty sure i got effed over in this dea.

and now im out of money so this project is postponed untill further notice.

I wouldn't trust a $30 motor personally. I hardly even trust an $80 motor! (Feigaos)

Really? That's surprising. They have to lack somewhere to get to almost 1/3 of the price though...

brushlessboy16 08.04.2008 09:36 PM

they only lack the brand name..
