That would open it up for people to donate knuckles/drive shafts from their revo's and be more brushless ready. If you want to stick with the old style knuckles, I'll have a complete set once my brother in law gets his swapped out for the Revo style.

I have the knuckles already and a sweet set of ti turnbuckles that match them, that's why I'm going 3906 knuckles

Harold, maybe throw out a list of what you need?

I put up what I had, I didn't know you actually wanted me to send them. PM me if you actually need the parts.

axles
17mm hubs (all 4)
a tranny or cd mount (i have a hyper 7 cd to use) and driveshafts
a body
electronics (I have an 8xl?)

any upgrade parts to what I have are appreciated. PM me accordingly:yes:

I was the one who donated those blue Golden Horizons aluminum bulkheads when Ian (BL_RV0) had it. Does it still have those? I'm pretty sure I sent him an EXV2 ESC (the yellow one) too, what happened with it?

_paralyzed_ 01.19.2010 08:26 PM

yep, it's got the bulkheads, it's looking like it will be a decent truck.

_paralyzed_ 11.02.2010 02:13 AM

wow, ten months of inactivity. This turned from a pif maxx to "Harold builds and sells a maxx for charity"

I absolutely appreciate the acquired donated parts, but my own financial contribution far overshadows anybody elses, and I'm disabled. And I'm doing the building. and spearheading the project. C'mon guys.

A fire has really been lit because I've seen an entire PIF Baja 5b built in under 2 months: http://www.hpibajaforum.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=93680

I am going to finish this with or without help. (PLEASE HELP) The plan is to sell it via e-bay and give 100% of the sale to autism research, in honor of Lutach's beautiful daughter.

Most need are-

-esc

-speedo

-upgrade chassis????

-LST diffs to t-maxx bulkhead adapters (pics and dimensions below)

Glad to see this is back on track!

I think I have a partial rolling chassis (pretty much just the suspension) in my garage somewhere. I think it has Alu bulks and skids, traxxas big bores, outer cvds, but no chassis, I have some NIP Losi 420 size wheels and tires too I think... I'll check down there tonight when I'm home and post up what I have. Let's finish this!

Cody.McP 11.02.2010 05:19 PM

Alright, I just checked in the garage really quick, I'll get back in there later tonight to find the wheels and tires but I have:

(This si all USED but in good condition)
Full set of 2.5 arms
Front blue alu bulks
Rear stock bulks
Stock shock towers w/ short body posts
Front and Rear diffs with diff cases
MIP CVDs for all 4 arms including drive cups and everything
Silver alu skids with mini RPM skids on top
All 4 Turnbuckles (stock)
Steering bellcrank (no posts though)
Traxxas Big Bores with black springs
And Knuckles with bearings

So pretty much a good front and rear end of the truck, it just needs bumpers and a few other misc things to be a complete front/rear.. I may also have a 3905 tranny somewhere.. but I think a CD would be better if thats your plan. Once you get everything together I can probably help fabricate a mount as well. If you need any of those things let me know! I can send the whole thing over and you can include the spares in your auction as well.

Awesome!!

Cody.McP 11.02.2010 11:32 PM

What would you need out of all that stuff? Turns out I don't have the tires though :/

simplechamp 11.03.2010 12:27 AM

I'm not sure if this is plausible, but I'd be willing to donate a few bucks towards getting a 1518 or 1520 from the Castle sale, if others would too.

nitrostarter 11.03.2010 12:31 AM

Harold, do you have a motor already?

simplechamp 11.03.2010 12:36 AM

I think he said he had an 8XL, which just won't do!

nitrostarter 11.03.2010 12:44 AM

I have a Tekin T8 2000kv motor I could probably donate...

I was going to write castle and ask for a donation! Good back up plan.

That would be awesome. Let me write castle first.

_paralyzed_ 11.03.2010 08:20 PM

just sent castle an e-mail. Cross your fingers!!!!!

Yo H I can do the spacers, but something looks off on your 'print', is it just the .078 is proportionally off? I see they're thicker on the washer part on the diff pictures. I have LST diffs but no Maxx bulks to confirm dimensions, I do remember .813-.815 for the Maxx diameter, so as long as you're 100% on the dims.

And I assume 6061?
