i love hobbycity for their cheap turnigy lipos and there batteries are surprisingly better than half of the US brands that i've seen.

Never really bought a charger from hobbycity. I went to hobbypartz and got one of these:

and one of these:

By far the bast chargers I've own. I absolutely love them. The AC6 is for the home workbench and the T6 goes with me to the track(it's really tiny so its easy to throw in the pit bag). Now if were talking about hobbypartz I think i've passed $1,000 mark...thats a lot for me!

Only $242.63, thats in 3 orders. Don't ask what I've spent at Tower this year.....

Unsullied_Spy 12.30.2009 01:51 PM

HobbyCity: around $300
Tower Hobbies: I'd rather not know
Amain Hobbies: Ditto on Tower
Daves motors: I want to cry now....

mistercrash 12.30.2009 01:54 PM

1425.03 at Hobby City.
2480.97 at Hobby Room.
613.70 at A Main Hobbies.
4154.57 at ebay, RCM, and other places.

I am not counting the trips I made to the LHS.

I am a sick man. Help me.

The vast majority of my brushless component (ESC/motor/battery) purchases are from RCM. I don't even want to know how much that comes out to be. :oh:

I've spent a total of $330 on HC so far. It's really hard to pass up the price on the Turnigy lipos.

brushlessboy16 12.30.2009 03:12 PM

Spent close to 500 at hobby city
Well over 1000 at amain
I dont even want to tally up ebay....

wallot 12.30.2009 03:20 PM

HC - $1,000+
Tower - $10,000+
Amain - $15,000+
RCM - I guess around $1,000
Others - a lot

Joy from the hobby - PRICELESS

Glad not everything was for me, but for my friends, but still I spend a lot. However better than my wife spending that money :diablo:

Is that a typo, maybe you added a extra zero accidentally...$27,000 in rc...wow!!! Thats crazy!

wallot 12.30.2009 06:30 PM

I did not say a year :) It is over 3 years.
And lot of the stuff was for my friends.
I spend on average $500 a month. More in summer during outdoor racing season, less in winter. And not all expenses are RC parts. There is travel to races, acommodation and stuff.

But it's worth it. Most spring/summer weekends gone with friends. Racing during the day and drinking during the night :)
