On-Topic; I'm bored too, the weather sucks over here. BUT!... hopefull the weather will be good tomorrow, so I can go bashing with some of my friends...

ehm, its actually just a chillout/drinking/whatever 24hour trip we do 4 times a year with my friend and sometimes few others who are not afraid :)

This time it's Eindhoven as we got kinda bored with Amsterdam :)

20EUR return ticket for this trip. we just fly wherever we can get lowcost airline tickets. Thats cheaper than a cab ride from a pub :party:

I hope to go to Ireland for Autumn trip as weather is great there till like November.

my mariokart profanity comes in 2-3 day waves when Im going to robotics competitions.. its usually something like this


"hey, whos in fist?!"

(from the other end of the bus) "me why?"

"not anymore"

"huh?"

"BLUE SHELLLLLLLL!!!!!!!"


"Fill in the blannk...."


then its a race to set your kart up to dodge the blue shell. yes it is very possible

I've done it. :yes: When I'm in first and I have noone to shoot Red shells at I just let them go down a straight and they continue around the track and hit the laggers. :lol:

oh, the blue shell... many a times do you hear the phrase shouted, as it passes everybody. after the 6th or 7th "blue shell!" someone stands up cursing and stomping their feet, and swearing death upon the one who launched it. If you don't hear first place cursing, everybody else starts because he dodged the blue shell. we even do secret alliances who do a 4th/5th place swap, so that 5th can get a good item like triple red shells, star, or golden shrooms. then the other drops back to 5th to get an equally good weapon to pwn 3rd, 2nd and first. we robotics kids take mario kart hard core

I prefer to just get the biggest 1st place lead possible. :mdr: I'm impossible to beat on Wario Stadium....

Our 8man games go on for well over 2 hours.... My freshmen year a guy named russell was undisputed champion, then a 2 years it was a kid named kevin..

then this past year it was me and mike... and your strategy has to work and teaming up always works... but a half lap from the end of the race- its a free for all. many a time have i been "that guy who camps behind the 2 leaders battling with a blue shell and screws them over about 10 feet from the finish line..


Then there is the point where your battling with someone and are way out ahead of the feild and you have a blue shell coming your way. throw that b1tch in reverse and come right at the feild so you blow everyone up....
