Lol minus the pink the bike is awesome. I really need to dump my shaman r510 wheels for something lighter. I looks like if I put zipp303 on it I would loose about 1.2 lbs.... Which puts my bike in around 16.9lbs.... But $1200 is a little steep ha

You really have to see it in person, it looks BAD ASS . As for lighter rims check this out. They only weigh 1525 grams per set. These are cheaper & i believe lighter than the Zipps. I just checked on google. The REYNOLDS ASSAULT CARBON WHEELSET are 100 grams lighter than the Zipp 303 wheel set. http://cgi.ebay.com/2010-REYNOLDS-AS...item3a5f0f1d8e |

I like the bike, you must be pretty serious to have a sweet ride like that. I used to bike about 9 miles a day for exercise, but I used some old piece of crap mountain bike. Did the job, got me hit by a car and it still works fine. Oh well. |

nice...
this is my ride from friday... http://connect.garmin.com/activity/51256351 30 miles @ 17.9mph average - 29.1max The other day i did the 60mile version of that, and hit 35mph on the way home haha... I just installed my Thomson Stem and ordered a Thomson seat post... bike can officially be called done, until i figure out wheels... |
I did another ride today with dad and brother. I know my numbers are ameture compaired to yours but anyway- 28 miles @ an average of 15mph. I got separated from them by traffic and got lost so I did the last 6 mile alone:lol:
I'm not sore enough to consider wearing bike pants yet. |

I found a picture of what me Dad and brother have. Apparently the one he lends me is 'nostalgic'. Makes no diff to me:neutral:

spandex on race day only haha

Yes it's carbon frame. I don't know anything about the running gear other than Dad has told me it's mostly low end gear. Apparently he has tried a number of bikes and didn't notice any benefits from the expensive gear.
I'll try and remember your recomendation if I ever get some pants, thanks. |

I Definitely noticed a difference when i switched from my last bike, which had Shimano 105. To my new bike which has Sram Red. The 105 is 3rd from the top of shimano's line, were as the Red is Sram's top of the line. The 105 was very good, but i think the Red gruppo is smoother, faster & lighter. |
