Well just weighed it, comes in at 14lbs even with 6s installed.
I'm figuring it will come in at aprox. 14.5lbs when completed or just a little under.

Nice build. How did you cut that channel in half for the chassis?

zueslilbuddy 04.09.2011 02:15 PM

I used my table saw, any carbon tip blade will cut it, aluminum is kinda soft.

Video running 2wd

Awesome conversion. Do you plan on making it 4wd? Your steering and acceleration will greatly improve. :):):):)

They were my XXLST wheels, they are were already glued before I got them saddly.
Well I got one more set, I'll try to be a little easier on it and try to make them last lol

Its awesome to drive it, what power :surprised:
Getting used to it being 2wd but can't wait until I can make it 4wd.

Oh Ya I had some fun today, Heres a video from today, the snow has finally melted away a little in the field.

I was running it out about 50 yards, man don't it cover some ground fast :D

<iframe title="YouTube video player" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Ydmb9x54JkU" allowfullscreen="" width="480" frameborder="0" height="390"></iframe>

And some action shots I was able to catch.

I had fun with it today :D

Great action shots mate, you think it covers ground quick now wait till it's 4x4 and gets some traction. It's going really well anyway, handles quite well too. You have done a really good job on it, well done.

JERRY2KONE 04.15.2011 05:48 AM

Thanks for sharing.

The snapshots are great, but you really have to work on your video shotting. Plus the video dating is September/2008. I guess your camera needs a calendar update. With all of that rear tire spin it looks like that rig could use some weight in the backend. Thanks for sharing.

zueslilbuddy 04.15.2011 07:14 AM

Ya vid camera is one of those venom mini cam knock off's attached to my radio, no screen to tell me if its pointed rite, hit or miss type of thing.
I try to keep it pointed at the action, just had it angled up too high I guess.

The snap shots are even more of a chore as I have to drive one handed and snap pics with the other hand, I really need a cameraman lol

You wouldn't believe how many times I almost got hit taking the pics :D

x-y 04.16.2011 08:32 AM

great photos ..... but I think you need 4x4 ;)

zueslilbuddy 04.20.2011 09:49 AM

Well got a new body for it, 4 coats of liquid mask last night, now to figure our a paint scheme and get it squirted.

My camera died so I'll do a walk-around video after paintjob is done.
