If you haven't tighten or check the slipper it is a good possiblity that may be a problem. You don't want to go to tight cause the stock slider to the wheels well ring off. The slipper is right under the cover where the motors are. It tells you in the manul on it. |
OK, I just ran it on the carpet again and its definately the slipper clutch, not tire spin. In fact if I hold the truck and give it gas the tires stay put while the motors spin so the clutch is way out......from the factory:031: . Im gonna try to firm it up. The manual says it should not slip under acceleration. If thats the case it will pull wheelies like mad.

I made some adjustments to the slipper. It was set way conservative. Tightened it fully and backed it out 5/8's of a turn(manual calls for a 1/4 out) It wheelies now, and in second gear:cool: At least on the carped....its still raining:019:

Its finally stopped raining and I took it out in the driveway. The surface was still wet. I have a mix of asphalt and aggragate. Woohoo, this thing is FUN. Glad I got a wheelie bar! Cant wait to take it in the grass and off road Im sure it will be great.

We have snow now! They are saying 1-4 inches for Chicago. Bummer!

In the pics above is the LVC going to see voltage for both packs or just the pack on the bec side?

This thread is a bit old, but I'll update it anyhow. The emaxx is still running fine on the 2s2p's and the motors are holding up. The truck has taken a beating however.:mdr:
