If you look at MM's second pic, there is a little jumper that completes the circuit and allows you to use one set of "pickups". Keep in mind that the dual inputs is simply a convenient way of having a Y adaptor.

Well, I thought you were asking if one set of wires could take the whole battery voltage. I was saying "yes", with a little extra explanation...

The MM means MambaMaxx, it's the controller for larger cars made by www.castlecreations.com
