Thanks. I agree on that last part - they should be made with the motor inward. First off, its more protected than it is hanging out the back end. Secondly, mid-engine cars handle like they're on rails. It works for R/C, too.

FYI - There is a link to the motor I bought in that post somewhere.........................

Yes, you win. Unfortunately I've run out of prizes.

I couldn't pass it up. Such a good price for that motor! Plus I saw a vid of a Revo with that motor and it sounds soooooo awesome! I like the internal fan, too. It should stay fairly cool.

Have a link to that vid? I run the orion vortex series motors in my touring cars, and they have the internal fans, and they sound really sweet also:na:

That's wierd, must be my media player. Oh well. I downloaded it anyways. Glad you like it. Pics will be posted when I recieve it.

BlackedOutREVO 12.10.2007 01:09 AM

I edited my old post, oops

But you ordered the same one that guy is running in the revo? To put in your rusty? Your NUTS lol!!!!!

What's_nitro? 12.10.2007 01:14 AM

Well I was gonna order a 1515/2Y or a 1950/11 for 8s LiPo. THAT would have been nuts. Plus, I didn't want to wait for myself to have $300 to spend on either of those.

That is going to be beyond ridiculous. I thought my 8l on 4s in a rustler was ridiculous.

BlackedOutREVO 12.10.2007 01:30 AM

Oooops, I dont know how I forgot that lol, I just read that like 30 mins ago lol.....

Should be fun to watch =)

I hope there WILL be a vid?

Ah, the align 600xl. They work well, I had one setup in an emaxx. No problems moving it around on 5s. I still have an align 600l that will go in a buggy or something. You will not have any clearance issue with the flm tranny. I have an flm pede with a plett maxximun in it, running jato spurs and 32 p pinions. Not sure on the size, but I know that a 46t mgt spur is the largest that will fit on a rustler tranny before it hits the driveshaft output on the gear side. You will have to use a large pinion to get the gears to mesh with that align, it is 43mm in diameter!
