I placed my order Saturday morning, was still Friday night in the USA, got an order confirmation, but nothing since then:neutral:

If you have received an e-mail confirmation with an invoice attached, with a 6 digit number, then your product has been shipped. If you have only received the e-mail confirmation when you placed the order, with a 12 digit number, then we have received the order but it has not been invoiced. Some orders that were pulled from the web server were not automatically transferred into the ordering system; so they have to be hand entered and could take a bit longer to process. If you don't receive an e-mail with the invoice by Thursday afternoon, I would recommend shooting an e-mail to sales.

Got mine today, but did get the air 1717. However I did get a very nice email from Thomas earlier warning me of the mixup and the ways they had to fix it.

Long story short, I ordered a 1520 from the Castle sale, and on second thought decided a 1518 would really be better for my application. I emailed Castle right away, but they said the order was already processed and they couldn't change.
If there is a chance anyone bought one of the 1518 and wants a 1520 instead let me know and we can trade. Thanks! |

Its almost a week since I placed my order and I have nothing in my In-box (not even invoice).
I sent them few emails and only got fuzzy respond with no real answer of what’s going on with my order. For some reason it seems that they don’t like to deal with international costumers. I know that they are overloaded but a week to process my order is too much. Really close to shoot them another email to cannel my order. My last chance is Thomas Porfert (PM sent) I’m buying most of my RC stuff from US stores and always get great customer service and fast respond. This kind of (bad) approach is really new to me. |
I just emailed them today and this is what I got.....I placed my order on the 24th
"All the orders for orders processed in the last 7 days will be shipped on 10/04/2010" |

I got an invoice for my first order, but it was for one motor Instead of two. Dena sorted it out right away and sent the second motor, they covered shipping on that one.
Now I still haven't gotten an invoice for my second or third orders which were placed the next day. Benji we just have to be patient. Castle has great support but they do not have a system or enough staff to deal with this volume of orders. If you are really worried about it, it's best to give them a call. |

I will continue to wait, still not understand why some of us already got the motors while the others have no invoice (I think that this is because we are international buyers).
By the way, they are still commit to confirmation within 1-2 days. This is from the sale website: "Due to an incredible response to our sale, please note the following: 1.THANKS for the order! 2.We are processing as fast as we can, and will send you an order confirmation within 1-2 business days of receipt. 3.We anticipate shipping items within 1-3 days of receipt. 4.Tell your friends - these deals won't last long!! Hey Benji, I dont think it has anything to do with where you live. I havent gotton an invoice either and I placed my order last friday and I live in Las Vegas. I think the first people that ordered got their orders in and shipped quickly, but I bet the demand built up pretty quickly once word got out.

That's exactly how it went from my point of view. I placed two orders on the 23rd and both shipped out last week. I then placed another order on the 24th and there's no update on it yet.
I'm sure they got a boat load of orders last Friday which caused a backlog. |

looks like they added some MM combos and stand/alone MMs. the prices aren't as crazy good as the motors, but they aren't bad either.

After the MMP came out there wasn't much reason to buy an MM (at least not for the same price). Now there is a little more motivation.
I wonder what Castle is telling the retailers who contact them ("Dealers holding stock affected by this sale should contact Castle directly.") |
