Serum, is MIP CVDs better than HotBodies?

Serum 09.03.2005 07:17 PM

No, MIP cvd's are better.. (i would personally keep the stock drivetrain till it breaks, the black bones seemed to be better than the silver heavy duty types. Those HD's are familiar from snapping directly at the end of the bone..

The ebay link doesn't work though.

toby 09.03.2005 07:17 PM

Everything i want only ships to US, Mike can you get any of these things?

No problem on the link, it is US only, i will just keep it like you said. i just want everything here for when i get the motor. I am just going to buy wheels and tires

Serum 09.03.2005 07:27 PM

It is probably logged in your cookies, doesn't work here.. it probably won't work from another computer in the US as well

Mike can get you all the things you need.. just pop him an email

toby 09.03.2005 07:30 PM

Do you think i should just buy the motor mount and battery trays and eventually make my own if i want too? or should i wait for probably over 3 weeks before they are done? i guess i have to wait for the controller anyways though, i will see how much they are to make? i am going to shoot mike an email

Serum 09.03.2005 07:32 PM

Just get the 7XL and see what you need to do for the motormount! if you don't have got the option of making the motorplate, buy the set..

mothman 09.03.2005 07:36 PM

Toby just let me know if you have someone to fabricate the motor mount for you. Im also looking for someone to fabricate it for me. Im not a good machinist and I dont really have an appropriate tools to do that.

toby 09.03.2005 07:40 PM

I have someone to make them but liek i said my dad is gone for two weeks.

Serum, what motor mount do you run now? i do not think i saw an updated photo of it, (unless i forget)

This is his new custom motor mount. A piece of art!!

By the way toby, here are you from?

squeeforever 09.03.2005 08:52 PM

serum, i dont see why you dont run the 9920 with the pletty. its good for up to 50,000 rpms with a 4 pole motor.

Gustav 09.03.2005 09:33 PM

I think he sold them both, but i see your point.I think the shulze is only rated for 97amps and about 60,000 rpm with a 4 pole.Plus the warriors seem fairly robust.

Not sure i'd like to be the one to try it though given that motors appetite for controllers:L: .

I thought Serum has the motor lower now, beneath the spur.
