42 tooth 32 pitch or 42 tooth mod 1...?

Serum 08.30.2006 02:22 PM

Yes, it can aqwut.
I've seen it in action a few times.

If you press the truck to the ground entirely, it just swirls the wheels around like it's nothing..

Mod 1 for the gears.
I got a set of big joes on my truck and it turns them in grass at a stand still.
If not it makes the ue servo saver give.

aqwut 08.30.2006 03:39 PM

whooohoo... now I can order one...

8S Lipo? Wow...thats 29.6V...

Chase023 03.14.2008 06:31 PM

What is a good ESC for a 6s Lipo application that can handle a 4 pole motor like the BigMaxximum well??

Has anyone used a 32.80k with a BigMaxximum or without for some feedback??

Going Lipo will help reduce my weight as well. Going to try to keep it between 10-12 lbs.

Serum 03.14.2008 06:45 PM

I would take an MGM. the are available in different current ratings.

Chase023 03.14.2008 06:47 PM

Go with a 40.160 or wait until the 40.100 comes out.

Man, this must be the longest build in history- I take it the truck still looks the same, no major alterations as-such?

BlackedOutREVO 03.15.2008 09:48 PM

Any updated pics?

Chase023 03.17.2008 12:37 AM

I think the last changes were getting rid of those velocity 6 wheels that stripped with the new 23mm ones.

I also did a comparision of size of the extended chassis G-Maxx to a 1/5 scale I am doing a project on one of these days.

Well changes in the near future will be

- Just bought 8 red EDC-2 Shocks to replace the integies.

- Might go to 5s or 6s and get a new ESC if I decide to go with 6s.

Man I wish I saved my F-350 lid because that was one that Moskito did when he was available. I really like it.

I'll post some new pics and try to get new vids when I get a chance.
