Ok guys I pretty much finsh just need to do a little fine tunning. I just drove my first ever brushless setup today playing around taking it easy (yea right) and all I have to say is this thing is a beast hence the name Silverback. OMG! it has so much power it literally blew one of the foam tires off the rim (I need to glue them on some plastic wheels)This is on 2 3s 5000mah 30c zippy lipos in series. Yea I think 14mm hex wheels are a bad idea also, I just striped one out. So now on to my 3rd set if wheel and tires lol. I put some 23 mm 1/2 offset wheels with proline standard mt bowties and took it out in the street. I pulled the trigger a little too much and it jumped up in the air and did a complete flip over and back on its wheels OMG! ITS INSANE. I even have the punch reduced to 50%. I went on to drive it for another 15-20 minutes until the I guess lvc started to work. When the lvc kicked in id give throttle and the esc would just blink and move a little bit and stop and then move alittle and stop and so on is this correct? My absolute highest temps after driving around in the uncut grass were: motor ~151, batts ~90, and esc ~121 they were cooler on the street 119, 85, 105,respectively. Its geared 20 tooth pinion with 51 tooth spur with a 3906 g-maxx single speed tranny.

I got a question you guys; I have read not to let your lipos go below 3.2 volts, is this just with the lvc in the esc or is that when you are discharging them also with the charger also? The reason I ask is because my charger only lets me pick to discharge 3s to 3 volts per cell. Is this ok as long as it not a heavy load?

3.2 v is pretty conservative. Your lipos will last there lifespan taken care of that way. I now milk mine to 3.0v dropping to 2.95ish sometimes, it takes alot more balancing to get them right but that extra 4 minutes at the track is worth it. Im sure someone here can chime in i think its 2.6v before the things fubared

So 2.99 -3.00 volts should fine on the charger discharge setting @ a 1 amp draw. I ran one completly on the discharge cycle and it seems to balancing better when charging. Finally finished and all I can say is Wow! way more power than I expected. I changed some thing around though like exchanged the vbs for GA bulks with sweetstrobes and UE 8 spider diffs. Heres some pics:

Look what I just recieved a g-4 chassis,it is about 10mm shorter than the g-2 maxx with the monoblock. I really like the layout and I think my g-2 and tranny is going to be sacraficed to the ISC competition thats being held in fontana ca in november. I just built this thing and now I am going to have to take it back apart again. Here more pics:

Nice Build!!! The Gorillamaxx trucks always look so bad ass! Anything special with your tranny. I keep breaking things in my tranny. The latest thing to go is the pin in the top gear. Why did you remove the VBS?

I did the pin mod and put in a solid pin intead of the weak roll pin. Other than that Its obviously a single speed g-maxx with a UE idler gear. I removed the vbs because this thing is too fast and if hit something @ 60mph+ I would just cry if anything happen to it especially @ ~$650 a pop not to mention no spare parts are being made anymore. So put it on my now full blown nitro supermaxx that I dont plan on running that much anymore. I also want to lower the body more and the vbs towers wont allow this and duh titanium towers will. Who knows I might put it on the g-4 maxx chassis because that will look awesome. Here the pics of the vbs setup that my previous links broke on earlier in the thread:
