Sorry meant the knuckle/ axle carrier:slap:
The reason i only had the one set made is the guy who did the work for me was really slow i had to wait three months to get those and i dont think he is interested in doing it again. sorry. He has a very large firm and doesnt have time for us peasants. If you really want this on your truck i would suggest buying the kits first and than drawing up the hubs yourself. That will save you time and money in the long run. This is not an easy thing to do it takes a lot of time and a lot of back and fourth with very little progress. You will than need to source material, i used 7075, and make sure the design is right before the mill starts or you would have just wasted time and money. depending on your truck you may be better off both time and money wise to wait for the MMM HV, I am. I did this purely as an exercise in speedy insurance. All of my trucks will be MMM HV when they come out. You will also want to go down to the local bike shop and pick up some shimano race cables and a 1.3mm drill bit. The cables that come standard in the kit are rubbish and the sheath is some blue with reflective highlights CXXP. You will need a very strong servo i am using a Hitech 7.4v ultra high torque servo that is fed from a third 2s 2200mah lipo that sits under the rear drive shaft that you cant see in the photos. |

When you see what that schulze ESC was worth i wanted to do anything i could to make sure it never went in for repair. I had to take out a second mortgage:lol::lol:

I will be doing some mods shortly to fit a 1527 in, i will let you know when and see what it will cost me extra to get the hubs made and let you know. Will be about a month or so away. Still waiting on the motor from NEU:grrrrrr::grrrrrr::grrrrrr:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, I just finished designing a hub, but its still rough and was just guesses as far as the measurements go, but its close enough for tonight. I'll post a screenshot in a sec. |
Its just rough and I haven't done the threads for the wheelnut yet, but I'll probably finish it up tomorrow. I allowed 5mm for the disc, and 8mm for the wheel hub, but thats far to much I think. I'll do some measuring tomorrow to see whats actually needed adjust it.

Edit: Keep in mind that I'm designing these for my BPP LSP with 8mm axles and my Revo which I'm gonna go with the Tekno 8mm axles on, so just keep that in mind if your interested in a set. Perhaps Mike could machine them cheaper than the quote I'm getting from eMachineShop. |

If I do have a couple sets made, you would be at the top of the list, but that would require you to do the 8mm axle conversion, which I'm guessing you probably haven't. |

Hows that. :mdr: Again, no real measuring, just guess work, but fine tuning the dimensions is the easy part. The little floating disk indicates a threaded portion (for the wheelnut). For some reason eMachine Shop is retarded and won't render threads. :whip: If someone with a very accurate digital caliper could help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it. I need measurements of the outside of a 8mm axle off a buggy or truggy (I'm sure its probably not a true 8.00mm), measure the outside of a 17mm hub, and if someone knew what threads they were, it would be great. :mdr: I think its M16 1.5mm pitch but maybe not... |
