id shave the steering link or get the aluminum one....
There is really no need to flip the linkage that I can see. I'm just gonna leave it on the outside like it originally was. Works perfectly that way and then just use the rx tray the way it was supposed to be. Besides that the servo was carefully positioned to have a balanced throw with it stood up and the link on the outside. Not sure if it's all lined up right flipped tO the middle.
When things get to close bad things happen in my experience. These cars flex all over the place while they are running. |
mine stays outside like it was ment to be.:mdr:
yea i doubt with it being that close mike will want to cahnge anything. Mine is already back on the outside and i shaved my hubs for more throw....
man i cant wait to have it.:yipi:
i asked the RC-M importer to get it for me. |
hey my chassis aint forsale...... lol
im curious to see how they look black. |
Anodize still not done?
I ordered mine last week!! The picture was still silver, not black. I hope mine is black!!
Wish I had seen this thread first, regardless, you guys helped me anyway in the pre-sales area. Just now noticed this Truggy thread. All my other parts arrive this week. The XT8 is sitting on my bench begging to be converted, just hope it can get along with my converted RC8. |
The kits are all black - the only silver ones are prototypes and Rootar's (special request before they were annodized).

The product description says the battery tray fits most battery packs, but it would be nice if the inside dimensions were included.
"Most battery packs" will fit into a 48mm x 168mm space. :)
Aww crap! I was hoping my 12s4p A123 packs would fit.
 |
Got your email earlier Mike, thanks for the quick response and the "black". Can't wait to get it!!
