I think it be awesom to have a chassis like that. Be long and mean looking.
What body fits it though? |
The proline Crowd Pleazer for the MGT fits pretty decent, actually. It fits about like a regular crowd pleazer body fits on an ext. gmaxx - maybe a little better due to the width - it looks pretty good on it actually.

Is that customer gonna use it for attaining a certain speed record?

Seems pointless, people can hardly run 2250s at WOT, or even afford a chassis that can handle the power.
For a 3080... that cost what, £500? Then a ESC is another £500, then a charger about £200 and loads of Lipos... well ALOT! As Candyman said, at 14 you must have one hell of a paper round, or just be dreaming. It wouldn't work without alot of custom parts which you can't provide. These are 10,000watt motors and weigh nearly 2kg. If you think a 9XL on 20cells is boring, you are wasting your money in R/C. |
It's not boring as such, I just want more power. I think i'll change it to 6s on a 1950/8

Mike, i am sorry for not seeing this thread earlier, i would have made you a nice compliment on this truck man!
Pity you don't have got more pics of it!! i guess you are more than busy enough :p |
Mike, have you received any messages from the German guy regarding that truck after testing it?
If you have, then how did it perform? |
How much for that chassis Mike. I really want to buy it... .... Or is it possible to do the same for the extended FLM Chassis but with the same type motor mount... this really is a beautiful truck.... would the 5 turn 2280, be Enough power for this with a 24.160 MGM..... T
|
a 2280/5 enough power ... LOL
|
If the 2280/5 did not give you enough power ( and I'm sure it did), then I think you should go all the way to the 3040 or 3060(Joking). 3080 is not gonna make you happy.

For a 3040 i would go for 24x2 or even more cells... 24cells can deliver about 2500 watts peak = easy job for the 2280 :) |
